It's all just a show to keep people scared and to feed the fear of the people so they can get legislation through to take away personal freedom. Remember the Patriot Act and homeland security they have already succeeded in doing that. Osama Bin Laden has been dead since before 9/11 he died of Kidney failure. The name has been a buzz word so long That people refuse to see the truth that they have been lied to all this time. Look up Freedom to Fascism. The Secrets of the Federal Reserve, The CFR, The Zeitgeist movie (the last half of this is the only important part) This man whose son was wrongfully imprisoned for thirteen that worked under the Clinton administration as an Agent for the CIA could vouch for everything said in these different movies done by different people. There are no Republicans or Democrats we have no real choices it's all a sham. The only terrorism we should be afraid of are what our own government sanctions look it up.

As much as I hate the Bush administration I cannot lay the bin laden tapes on the government. It's the media's decision to show the tapes and give the murdering bastard free air space. His audience wasn't really the American people, because he knew the broadcasts would only piss us off more. No, his audience is the disaffected youth of the radical muslim world. And when sane rational well-intentioned muslims speak out they are murdered too. So, until bin laden is captured and or killed the problems will continue. Even then it probably won't end. Bin laden will probably acheive some kind of elevated diety status among muslims, like Mohammed.

I don't think the government or Mr President had anything to do with the airing of this video. It seems that the only people that are scared are the Democrats that realize that people aren't buying their "it's all Bushes fault" agenda. They are all running against him and not telling us what they would have done or would do better.

Yeah, yeah, and the guys beheading international aid-workers on camera, blowing up busses and subways in England, blowing up things in Spain, attacking American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, attacking the USS Cole, kidnapping religious workers, funding and arming the Taliban, are all part of the conspiracy as well. Oh and thousands of people who died on 9/11.
"The Conspiracy" is getting pretty damn complex. Surely some amount of convincing evidence showing George did all this, and not terrorists who keep congratulating themselves and saying 'we did it', will come out soon as well? Or maybe you should just start to accept the fact that if George were this amazingly evil and intelligent that the U.S. would have 'found' chemical weapons in Iraq.

Ask yourself who broadcasts this? Is it the US news...that also broadcasts death totals in Iraq each day? Is it also al Jazeera?
If it benefits GWB's ratings...so what, is he up for a 3rd term?
If there was a video of Osama bin Laden and GBW refused to broadcast it, would you be wondering "what GWB had to hide?" It seems hard to please those of you who hate our president so much.
To answer your first question, it's not a scare tactic for those of us who understand the threat, and it's not enough to wake up the mind numbed zombies of the US who want to believe that the president is our biggest threat.
