I think a good portion, if not the majority, of the population will see through a false flag attack. Knowing this to be the case, the administration would have to be ready to show their entire hand, knock over the chess board if you will - full martial law, no dissent, censoring of the internet, gun confiscation, detention of known dissidents. etc. The question in their mind is whether or not they would get away with it and whether they would benefit from an all-out war on American soil. A big problem would be large scale mutiny within the military, many of whom have no interest in doing such things to peaceful American citizens - taking their guns and hauling them away without charges, even firing upon them. If these maniacs decide they have the power to pull it off, watch out!
