We seem to already be on the road to becoming another Zimbabwe....

The President wants to stay in office. The Minister of Health has been proven to be a thief, alcoholic, liar, incompetant, etc., yet is defended by the government & will not be fired. The former deputy-president sexually assaulted a woman & then took a shower to eliminate the risk of getting AIDS. Corruption is rife, with ministers stealing money to go on holidays. The leader of the Opposition Party has been arrested on a BS excuse. A Member of Parliament thrown out because he asked an open question.

Need I say more??? I will appreciate everyone's opinions.

I am a (white) South African and was thrown into prison 3 times for protesting against the apartheid horror.
But,.... I left S.A. because of the silly 'Affirmative action' campaign (nothing more than 'Apartheid in reverse')
I am now happily living in Colombia, and will not return soon.

I have little knowledge of South Africa but have a sinking feeling that it is going the same way as Zimbabwe.
This brings me to the point that he colonial powers were right. Africa is the white mans burden. I do not attempt to excuse the wrongdoing but make the point that Africa is not and will never be in my lifetime ready for a proper democratic government

Yea, my wife's an Afrikanner and I've studuied the political situation there in some detail. The west doesn't even know what's going on; the media are controlled by the powers that be and the powers that by have dirty hands from the cash stolen from SA. So, they say nothing.

Perhaps you should have an additional round of truth and reconciliation committees and finally get rid of the last few people capable of running the country. Who knew if you prosecute all the smart people, put them in prison, force them to leave the country or kill them, you will eventually be left under the servitude of idiots.
