I got this from a site and it says all the things I needed to say in reply to the idiotic notion that the WTC was brought down by controlled explosions:
Even those who believe this, there has to have been United and American airliners, otherwise you have to suppose that the govt had to keep all the airline personnel quiet, which is of course ridiculous.
When you consider the number of individuals involved in planning and execution, the explosive experts, the demolition professionals, the building engineers, the missile launch and maintenance personnel, the air traffic controllers and air base personnel, the kidnappers who had to remove the civilians from the planes and kill or hide them forever, the aircraft maintenance personnel who modified the planes, the agencies or organizations that provided the explosives, missiles, and planes, the pilots or robotic flight programmers to fly the planes, and God knows who else… the number of direct conspirators would have to be in hundreds

Obviously all the people who believe this was a controlled demolition have not the vaguest concept of a thing called logistics.
The logistics required to pull of a controlled demolition would have been astronomical. It would have been full of holes from the moment the thing started.

Lay the juvenile and imbecilic conspiracy theory to rest.
I didn't mean the memory of what happened.
I am not American, but I feel deeply about what happened, and I get angry with people who have not go the intelligence to see through a bunch of media hype, that can be blown away in seconds with a little afore-thought.

We can't keep reasonable secrets secret in the U.S. government. Ain't no way we'd keep a 9/11 conspiracy secret.
There is no way in this world that you could get that many military members to go along with something like that and not have someone say "bite me."
Can't you just see it? "Our plan today is to kill thousands of Americans in New York and at the Pentagon. Oh, and we're going to burn up and kill some of your colleagues at the Pentagon." Does anyone with an IQ above that of Paris Hilton think that military personnel would salute and do it? I wouldn't have, and neither would anyone with whom I served.

Finally! Someone else has realized the fatal crux of all those complex conspiracy theories like "Did man go to the Moon," or "Did we find life on Mars," or "Did aliens crash in Roswell?"
The number of people required to keep the secret is huge and impossible. It has been said, "two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead." Conspiracies do exist and are possible, but not when a lot of people are involved. The urge to tell, and the money that would be offered, are just to great to ignore.
The Bush administration couldn't even keep the National Intelligence Estimate secret, a secret as huge as 9/11 would be impossible to keep secret. All it would take would be one person to blow the top wide off.
One of the greatest secrets of the later 20th century was "Who was Deep Throat?" The man who blew the top off the Watergate by telling two reporters that the Nixon administration was behind the cover-up was given a code name and not even the newspaper’s editor knew his real identity. Only 3 people in the entire world knew his identity and the reporters vowed to keep it secret until after his death. However, medical bills became a problem and Deep Throat confessed himself, so he could write a book. The temptation of money was just too much. If 3 people couldn't keep a secret like that then how can hundreds?
9/11 was the largest mass killing perpetrated by a small group of people in all time. It is the largest crime ever committed on American soil and to say that it is a government conspiracy is an insult to everyone who died or knew someone who died, and to all the people who are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

first of all, the government did no longer deny his request. those in cost of his protection whilst he's here (NYPD and US secret provider) did. the justifications given have been that the positioning is closed through shape and it can be a protection difficulty. perhaps that's valid. individually, do i think of he ought to pass?- no. yet legally, if protection grow to be granted, i do no longer think the government ought to step in and say no. A traveling Head of State has rights too. whether he, or for that rely the different US citizen, had to place a wreath on the positioning in honor of the terrorists, as a prior answer shows- this is his or that voters proper. regrettably, for that reason, unfastened Speech is absolute!! it must additionally be mentioned that the government has made no respected assertion related to this (a minimum of no longer that I even have considered). the sole people making respected statements are those working for the presidency. they're "outrage" smacks of politics and not something to me.

No, we're going to bleed that sacred cow to death till this country ceases to exist.
At the rate we're going, thats going to be in the next 50 years. We'll morph into what we are fighting. Religious extremism.

Yes, I know your question is about a conspiracy, I don't buy it either for some of the points you brought up. I do however, think that those on top chose to be asleep at the switch hoping something would happen so they can shove their agenda down our throats.
That worked. We got into nation building and made a few people very rich in the process while using our people in the most inhuman way to make them rich.
Peace

And your point is? You can make as many assumptions and conspiracies as you'd like.
For the ones who believe that this attack was put on us by the terrorists.... we should never forget what happend and all the lives that died because of those stupid.
We have our troops out in the Middle East fighting for that very same reason... to forget what happend is to say that our being out there is for nothing.
We will win this war.... and I have faith in our Military that we'll finish the job that was started.
God bless all our troops.... and come home safely!!!

you're trying to make it more complicated than it is. very few would have to be in on the inside of a plot. the rest is smoke and mirrors. it's pretty simple to fool crowds of people. hell they do it to themselves . and nobody wants to believe big lies, they just can't grasp it. it takes suspicious people, like myself, or a little dog named Toto, to find the guy behind the curtain.
but really i have to agree with patriot www, above. the real problem is not that george bush brought down the towers. it's that they knew it was coming and did nothing. when five nations pointed right at the alledged perpetrators, and said "they are on their way." (direct quote from french intelligence), nothing was done. or nothing good was done.

In my opinion bush didn't know the specifics of the attack. Clinton knew it was coming and i believe since he didn't believe there was a threat failed to pass on the relevant data.
its like saying the ocean has sharks, a general warning. Then not saying one is coming at you. A specific warning. One that was not given

AMEN.
Former Continental & Hawaiian Airlines Flight Attendant/Instructor here.
Reality: as long as it makes Bush look bad and affects this forced upon us early election season sandwiched with two eager beaver Clinton's wanting more power it will continue.
Too blinded to realize America may just wake up and see it was their inability to protect our nation that led US down this path in the first place.
