What do you think about the fact that throughout our presidential history, we've only elected white, caucasian MEN? What gives here? I think it's bazaar and have really never heard anyone address it.

That's why the 2008 election is going to be something else.
For the first time in history, a woman and an African American are going to be running for president.

I thought we didn't elect anyone. I thought it was all a conspiracy set into motion by a fetal George Bush, with the backing of Haliburton. I thought they were the ones that put in George Washington and every successive president in power. I thought the few democratic presidents were the only ones truly elected by the will of the people.

That's all the people who have ever run for office. The next election is a chance to change that, since we'll have a woman and a black man both running.

well whites have always been the majority and in the olden days (pre-1970's) anyone who wans't white was looked down upon and education was harder for them.
now whites only make up about 45% of the nation. nowadays you see many politicians who are not white. give it time and you will see more presidential candidates that aren't white

Hmm, maybe you're on to something here... no one EVER talks about this....

Is this another guilt trip with the only purpose to put a truly sorry individual in the White House? I don't look at people's race or sex but who they are. Why do so many democrats always have to separate people and look at race or sex to define someone's worth. It is truly sad.
