I think Musharraf has a lower approval rating then Bush does here. Pakistan has nukes and Pakistanis are harboring Bin Laden who continues to call for attacks on americans.

The question is......does this matter to you?

if u think pakistani's are harboring bin laden, then you have already stated your ignorance.

Americans the biggest super power in the world, with the strongest intelligence know and are keeping bin laden safe.

The reason pakistani like bin laden is cause they think or believe he has provided a justified action against the terrorist they believe is the US. So funny enough, the americans think bin laden is the terrorist, but pak thinks bush is. So as their neighbors are being bombed left and right and as refugees spill into their land from afghanistan, why would they not appreciate bin laden??? Its like americans appreciating their soldiars killing peeps all over the world.

bin laden is the least of todays worlds worries, its the superpowers that worry me. I work worldwide and the cultural complexities and western ignorance is something that has to be rectified before we can have proper peace.

Bin-Laden's raison d'etre for 9/11 was the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia, troops that would not have been there but for the actions of Saddam Hussein. Saddam was central to the cause of 9/11. We're no longer in Saudi Arabia, has there been victory declared by Bin-Laden and his Jihadi comrades. Perhaps we should leave Iraq through Iran?

Pretty simple really.

Bin Laden and other extremists give away money and supplies to those in need in the countries that harbor them. Bush does not. Cash can buy a tremendous amount of good will.

For an example, after the latest Hamas/Iseral conflict, who was on the scene, giving cash to the people affected? Not the Isrealis, not the local government, not the national government. It was Hamas, and you wonder why they continue to live, thrive, and survive..

Well Pakistan is a stong ally of the US and it is also a country that is very divided and has a strong support for Muslim extremists like Bin Laden. Regarding their nukes, all of them are pointed at their arch rival India and they do not have the delivery system to send them our way, much like the Korean nukes. You have them but can you lauch them In IRAQ the big deal about weapons of mass destruction, was biological and nuclear. The biological, we know they had, they used it on their own people. The nukes were probably in progress but the issue there was not hitting the US but our allies like Israel.

Well, what about the other 44%? Do they like Musharraf? I guess Bush rates low everywhere! It doesn't matter to me and it doesn't surprise me. bin-Laden might be in Pakistan, but our intel (for what it's worth) says he's in Afghanistan. In either case, I'd like to see the evil b-----d captured, tried, and convicted and then, a PUBLIC HANGING. (And, other than this, I am vehemently against capitol punishment.)

Sort of. They are a bunch of animals like their terrorist friends. Any country where 47% support Bin Laden should be bombed to the stone age, on the other hand, as long as they are at odds with India, we don't have much to worry about.

Not too much considering that Pakistan is a Muslim country so why wouldn't they support him? However, I don't believe that Musharraf is doing nearly as much as he says he's doing to find Bin Laden and I think we rely too much on him and his country and not enough on going where we have to and getting Bin Laden ourselves. If we leave it up to the Pakastanis, we'll never see him.

SEEMS LIKE ITS THE SAME POLL RESULTS AS WHEN THE LIBS/DEMS polled here. They too like bin laden over Bush 47 to 9%.
With the exception of the Clintons who like a the younger bush occasionally.

In answer/response to your first question (mark). It's a predominantly muslim nation Bin Laden is muslim, Bush is not. It is also predominantly uneducated -- hence a third world nation.
The answer to your second question, yes it matters, they have the ability to inflict great damage and little intelligence on how best to wield such ability.

We have many many more nukes, and ours are the very latest and biggest . Theirs is primitive in comparison. Our delivery system is beyond human imagination - - theirs is untested and old ( if they have a delivery system at all ).
Blowing up something here and there is like a little squirrel teasing a big nasty gorilla . He might put up with it for some time - - - then he finishes it , all at once .
