Let me get this right. The republicans are passionate in their hate to pay taxes to help the United States. you know for tings like better public roads, beaches, National parks, forests, public schools etc.

But when it comes to Iraq they gleefully get scared by Bush and send U.S. tax dollars to the "cause" in Iraq.

I don't get it. On the one hand they hate paying taxes for America and our great country and people. Yet on the other hand Bush simply scares the republicans and they give money like candy to Bush in Iraq.

So being a sensible taxpaing patriot is crazy. But getting scared and throwing $3 Billion dollars a week away on Iraq is sensible?

It's the same as it ever was. The gov can drum up money quickly for war but claim there's not enough to for anything else when there isn't a war. Or say money given to certain things should be enough but in reality it's not nearly enough. Money for education comes to mind.
I can understand money used for a time of war, but don't give me the same song and dance for things like Education,Heath Care. etc.

Yes it is very sensible and if more troops were available I would support sending more, and paying more but I am not willing to give a dime for nationalized health care. And I have no insurance. I support building roads but not another dime to fix the bridges why? How the funds and the priorities are allowcated. Fix the bridges begfore you get the cronies the paving contract, don't you find it Ironic that the minnesota bridge was being paved when it collapsed. The Enemy declared war on us. We were at war with Saddam since 1991 but then liberals never look at the bigger picture, just ther selfish wants, Screw the country screw the troops and always support the enemy but how dare you call liberals unpatriotic while Calling a Patriotic General a Traitor.

Apparently you missed news on the economy.

4.8% Unemployment
13000 Dow. up from 7,500 in September 2001.
Budget Deficient: down over predictions, so tax collections must be pretty good, huh, Gomer?

WW2 lasted over 17 years and we are still in Germany and Japan. From 1928-1945 that War built and built and built. Period! Look it up, Hoss!

It's a different world: Check 9/11 to confirm, or maybe the USS Cole, Somalia, American Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, 1993 WTC Bombing, etc.

Wake up people, this wave of killing is not over. Not ven close. Even if the US pulls out, surrenders, yells "Uncle" or whatever they are going to hit the US as they can, over and over, and over.....are YOU ready for that?

WAKE UP NEW GUY!!!!!!! They want to kill you.....that is their job, their existence!!!!! TO KILL AMERICANS!!!! ESPECIALLY GAYS, HOLLYWOOD TYPES, ETC

Their hatred is unparrelled in the existence of mankind...their brutality is beyond your comprehension.

Don't wait for proof, people

You are so far off base with your complaints that I think you might be in outer space.
Conservatives believe in less government, less government spending and lower taxes to keep the economy at a high level.
Conservatives are opposed to wasting tax money on social programs, pork, giveaways, buying votes with tax dollars. People who use the services you listed should pay for them.

Democrats control Congress and therefore control spending. They can cut off funding if they wish. They don't have the guts to even try.

Mr. Bush informs everyone in the US of the dangers to US citizens and to the country. He frequently acknowledges that his first job is to protect us. Spending money for our protection is a good thing.

Your statements show your ignorance and bias. I think I smell a liberal here.

You know what though, I really enjoy this war. A few dollars is not too much to pay for action like this.

Yeah, just like Al Gore trys to scare the money out of your pocket with global warming. Also Republicans hate paying taxes for liberal social programs like welfare and unemployment, needle exchange, condoms for school kids, and abortions. And don't forget if you are killed by a terrorists then you cannot pay your taxes.

I disagree, our president just wants us to remain a free country and not empower the terrorists, the Republicans are smart enough to get it.
