I was wondering how much money the Bush Administration spends on its Armed Forces each year / and how much is spent on working for environmental causes, like research and development on how to fight global warming etc..?

"On CNN's Crossfire on October 20, 2000, Larry Flynt exploded a bombshell: that he has evidence that George W. Bush was "involved in an abortion in Texas" in the early 1970's - when abortions were still illegal."
Larry Flint has been the undoing of a number of Republican lawmakers, such as Vitter. So much for family values.

at times central govt officers vested with local purchase powers are compelled to buy items at higher than the MRP. The items are purchased against lowest of at least three quatations. Most of times the lowest quoted rate is higher than the MRP. It is neither mandatory nor insisted to mention Brand as well as MRP. The auditors in this country of ours are either too busy or ill intended. Not even 1/6 worth of item against expenditure to the exchequer is recd actually. can there be a solution.

How can Israel claim to be a peaceful country when they have slaughtered and displaced Palestinians since World War II. Below is a link to a picture that show the size of the Jewish settlements between 1920-1948.

I was just thinking, Alaska and Hawaii were the last two U.S. territories to become states, and there's been lots of talk but no consensus on making Puerto Rico a state. What have been the past few places to become U.S. territories, and the dates they became territories?

I am a law-abiding, indigenous Englishman working full-time and has a post-grad.

How possibly can some scruffy turd-herder from the third-world enrich or enlighten me?
My culture remains far superior to anything they may offer. I have no interest in their pathetic music, dance or cinema.

BTW- I hate South Asian food- it tastes like crap and I never shop at corner stores.
In fact- I boycott any and all business deemed foreign.
Support our farmers= buy British!

How am I enriched by their presence which I find offensive and exploitative of my native brethren?

Look at
http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/index.html
and scroll down on the right side and see several men hung by their necks, suspended by cranes, for being "immoral" (gay) in Iran. If you still feel Bush is worse than Islamofascism, then, there's no hope for you...you're way to stupid to be any success at life.

This is the society you will bring upon yourself by ignoring the danger we all face from these insane muslim lunatics.

Now that Bush has commuted the sentence of his buddy who leaked the identity of an undercover CIA agent because the sentence was "too harsh", will he commute the ten year sentence of a 17 year old kid who got a BJ from a 15 year old kid?

I mean gosh, doesn't it seem a bit "harsh" that this 17 year old kid will spend 10 years in jail for getting his penis sucked at party? But then again we all know blowjobs are serious crimes, unlike, say, lying to the American people about the reasons this country starts wars and intentionally leaking the identities of covert CIA agents who are married to those who speak out against such illegal wars that kill thousands of Americans...

this type of **** makes me want to move to Canada....

Seems their star witness was an Iraqi/s who lied about the situation. The charges I believe are being dropped. Whatever happened to innocent before proven guilty.

We have been very humane in Iraq. After WWII we hung Nazi
terrorists in the street when caught in acts of violence.

Our brave men and women whom are shot at, having IED's blow up in their faces, have rules of engagement that our very own police officers do not have to abide by.

Try shooting a cop or at one..see what happens.
It's war....its nasty, its awful. Compared to history, our wars are very humane.

Except in this case, it's not Iraqi's killing Iraq's well some are, a lot are Syrian, Iranian. I say a few cruise missiles will stop the flow into Iraq.

IF we fought WWII this way we would have lost. We followed this method once before and cut and run.

As for me, I belong to the upper middle class, but my sister and her husband are different. They both work, but they aren't able to afford medication for their illnesses. I've been to their home, and they barely have any clothes and furniture. My daughter asked me if they were poor - especially because they live in the hood. I told my daughter that only the Africans are because they are starving and homeless.

My sister and brother in law don't even have a savings. They live paycheck to paycheck and can barely make ends meet. I'm so afraid for my sister because she has a brain tumor that needs to be removed and even with their insurance, they can't afford that or even any medication. I looked at this:

http://www.sociology.ohio-state.edu/classes/Soc463/matthews/Class%20System.pdf

It didn't help. I'd say they're "working class", but at the same time, they have no savings and can barely make ends meet. They were close to both becoming homeless before, so I really fear their future.

do you sometimes find it difficult to believe all the new reports of "Terror on the Rise again" that come out? There are times it is difficult for me to believe our govt has any credibility anymore.
Anyone ever feel this way?
