More people will go to Stoke this weekend than will go to London or Blackpool.
Does this indicate a message to Gordon if he wants to be re-elected

Apparently, as you approach Stoke by road, there's a new sign welcoming visitors to that fair city - "Welcome to Smoke on Trent".

The House of Commons does not have a smoking ban and MPs are at liberty to smoke in the bars and canteens etc.

Charles Kennedy MP, a smoker, got done for smoking on a GW Train somewhere in the West Country. This is the same ginger drunken prat who voted in favour of a ban on smoking in England. Scotch too, and plenty of it apparently.

As far as i am aware MPs dont come under the law of the land in parliament , so they are allowed to smoke in certain parts of the houses of parliament , it makes you sick doesnt it one law for us and one for them .They are on over inflated wages , get the best subsidies at our expense , and if they go to Stoke on Trent they get travel subsidies .We employ the best con - men and women in the world .
