Now that Bush has commuted the sentence of his buddy who leaked the identity of an undercover CIA agent because the sentence was "too harsh", will he commute the ten year sentence of a 17 year old kid who got a BJ from a 15 year old kid?
I mean gosh, doesn't it seem a bit "harsh" that this 17 year old kid will spend 10 years in jail for getting his penis sucked at party? But then again we all know blowjobs are serious crimes, unlike, say, lying to the American people about the reasons this country starts wars and intentionally leaking the identities of covert CIA agents who are married to those who speak out against such illegal wars that kill thousands of Americans...
this type of **** makes me want to move to Canada....

Thanks mckenzie for not answering the question! You are a true American, ignoring the facts that matter in order to argue a point that is beyond moot... I am sure you would sing a different tune had it been YOUR 17 year old kid who got sent to the slammer for 10 years because he got a hummer from another drunk kid....
idiot.

You are right, he was commuted as I stated in the question, but I guess as long as we are talking legality, how can Libby possibly be commuted when he has not spent a single say in prison?
Gotta love you Bushies, faithful until the end no matter how badly this country may suffer!

The Libby commutation was despicable politics. But, Genarlow Wilson was prosecuted in STATE not FEDERAL court. Bush has no jurisdiction, only the governor of Georgia does.

Then move to Canada, because at least there you can try French as your new language. It's obvious you know little about English. The President commuted the prison sentence for Mister Libby. He didn't pardon him. The conviction still stands, the fine still stands and so does his court-ordered probation. And he was convicted for the crime of perjury (specifically that he, as a Federal officer, lied under oath to other Federal officers). It's the same law (5 USC 3001) that was used against most of the Watergate defendants). He was not convicted for revealing the name of a covert CIA operative, since Ms. Plame was not in that category. She was a "desk jockey" at Langley.

i think of of you will likely opt to do a Google on Ramos & Compean and think of on the subject of the testimony of decision officer's on the scene and the U. S. legal professional's fact, which replace into publicly released. the guidelines of engagement for border patrol officers state that they could use deadly rigidity to guard their existence or the lives of others indoors the execution of their household projects. No regulation enforcement officer is legally allowed to shoot an unarmed suspect indoors the decrease back (buttocks hence), as that "fleaing" suspect poses no hazard to existence. Now, thus far as committing against the regulation with a firearm, it incredibly is a Federal regulation, that there are no longer any exceptions in for wrongful use of a firearm by a regulation enforcement officer, whether, i think of that if utilising the firearm is the alleged crime, then it falls outdoors of the reason of the regulation. the reason of the regulation replace into to make harder sentencing rules for various crimes utilising a weapon, like theft, burglary, rape, etc. hence, i would not be unfavourable to the putting aside of the enforcement of that Federal claus indoors the regulation, yet I even if have confidence those officers violated the regulation to boot as many departmental ideas and could have outcomes to their strikes.

Anyone besides me, think it's funny how many liberals keep trying to say that Libby leaked Valerie Plames name to the media,
When the Special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald ,
Robert Novak the journalist, and Richard Armitraidge the State department flunky who told Novak, all say Armitridge leaked the name.
They actually think Libby was convicted of leaking the name.
When did Libby become Bush's buddy ?
I thought he was Cheney's buddy.

Go. You sell your patriotism cheaply.
I have no respect for people who say that.
Patriots stay here and put their country ahead of their political ideology.
Oh, she wasn't undercover. They were cleared for that very reason. The lie should be dealt with. But so should President Clinton's lie. So should any lie told under oath.
