HA! You got it. Nobel Prize.

Have you seen some of the other ingenious research going on? Like seeding the atmosphere with anti-greenhouse gasses, or creating man-made volcano's (don't really get that one) or pouring iron into the ocean to help plankton grow? Or the craziest of all... putting a massive space station up that blocks the sun.

I really hope we don't do anything like that. Haven't people learned anything about messing with Nature yet? Not enough evidence to the contrary? Why do people think they can master the universe?

A good portion of the scientists working on the nuclear bomb in WWII thought that if they test fired the bomb, it might create a chain reaction that would destroy the world.

If that is what their math told them, then why did they fire it? And why should we trust the science on Global Warming?

I think we are seeing the slow results of that chain reaction now. It just took 65+ years longer then they thought it would. (I state this as a metaphor, not a literal chain reaction.)

No. The stinkin' corporations need to assume responsibility for all the pollution and climate changes THEY are causing by conserving, cleaning up their acts, and stopping with illegal dumping and emissions of cancer causing chemicals. I'm sick of them trying to propagandize through the media so that we the PEONS will conserve! Go to hell!!!! According to Al Gore's survey I'm a more than "carbon neutral" and have a minuscule impact of the environment!

"The best and briefest identification of man's power in regard to nature is Francis Bacon's "Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed." In this context, "to be commanded" means to be made to serve man's purposes; "to be obeyed" means that they cannot be served unless man discovers the properties of natural elements and uses them accordingly."
