“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness...The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them" - George Washington

"Democracy is, first and foremost, a spiritual force, it is built upon a spiritual basis- and on a belief in God and an observance of moral principle. And in the long run only the church can provide that basis. Our founders knew this truth - and we will neglect it at our peril." - Harry S. Truman

Dear Senator _______:

I assume you utilize tax deductions on your IRS forms. In other words, you take steps to lower your tax liability.

So why do you say "The Rich" need to pay higher taxes?

You personally are very rich, and yet you do all you can to AVOID paying higher taxes.

If you really think The Rich need to pay more, then why don't you?

Blocks Rocks!

HABANA, CUBA- Millions of Cubans led by President Fidel Castro marched along Habana's waterfront in a show of fervor against U.S. pressure for privitization of the well run island.
Similar anti-American marches were held in 800 towns and villages across Cuba in one of the largest mass demonstrations since Castro's 1959 revolution.
Officials said more than 2 million people, most of them wearing red T-shirts and waving Cuban flags, marched by the American mission shouting slogans against the United States and in defense of Cuba's socialist state.

on the other hand.. Gusanos anti-Castro, celebrate in USA.... what they don't even understand but were brainwashed to believe and behave..... to be against their master Fidel
( Cuba 's Banana Republic puppet ) :D

Acording to him we need CO2 for the growth of vegetation [trees to veggies]. Also everything can be blamed on the sunspots that causes global warming only for a season of time. He also listed 15 wrong assumptions made in the movie !!! Starting this year we will have the beginning lesser sunspot activity and the decrease of the warming trend !!!

If so, what are we going to do about it? I've been a Democrat, and I've been a Republican. Both are worthless. Almost everyone in the Democrat and Republican party toes the party line in order to get support in their respective elections. In other words, you can't really vote for "the person" because most simply do what the party tells them to do. So, do millions of us band together and try to inflluence an existing 3rd party, or do we form a new one of our own? Using the Internet and all our contacts, we can reach millions. Who is with me?

Do you see how silly it is to take the actions of a few and project them upon the masses?

Just because you've seen some moron, who happens to be a lib, saying bad things about the troops, does not mean all libs are like that. In fact, most are not.

Though Clinton made mistakes like every president, he was probably one of the best presidesnts ever because of all the good he did do, yet he was the only one who ever got impeached just because he had sexual encounters with another woman. Though Bush hasn't done one single thing to help the country and has only made mistakes making us hated around the world and killing thousands-millions in a useless war, he is still loved, even if its only 30% of the country. I just don't understand how this works and why we havent impeached our president for the real crimes he has commited.

Is the crooked politician only a product of modern times?

Which party is the most sincere and honest, regardless of their stance on issues?

It's like they all are thinking, "I only have x amount of time, how can I pocket the most cash before I leave?". It's just like the whole cash flying around a phone booth thing you see on game shows. Don't these people care about the legacy they leave behind, or the reputation of their family name?
