The UK bombings have yeilded 5 suspects, two of which were doctors who were carring out a Fatwa (kinda like a personal jihad) agianst their host country. With two recent attempts agianst America (Fort Dix and JFK airport), can we reasonably expect more attempts from those which we host?

Government officials say 100% positive that we will be attacked. But with all of the tools they have at their disposal (all the spying and snooping), shouldn't they be able to at least prevent the the attacks if they can predict with certainty that they are coming?

Also, we gave all these agencies (CIA, FBI, NSA the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Agents, plus your basic law enforcement) more money to keep us more safe, why are they promising us more attacks?

Unlike most politicians, he refuses to engage in partisan bickering to gain political advantage. His courtesy and thoughtfulness, his self-mocking sense of humor, and his adherence to his Jewish faith have given him a glowing image that has helped him throughout his career.

Lieberman says he will support a presidential candidate who, regardless of party, understands the threat of Islamist terrorism and will be the strong leader America needs against this enemy.

"I could support a Republican or an independent or a Democrat," Lieberman

He puts party politics aside for the love of his country. What a guy! If he were to be asked to run for VP which party would gain the most from a Lieberman VP on their ticket?

If anything they'd come to the U.S's East Coast.

"As for Iran's domination of the Gulf, fear of that was a major argument made against going to war. If you smash the only Arab nation in the Gulf able to stand up to Persian Iran, overthrow its Sunni regime and introduce majority, i.e., Shia rule, how can Iran not be the beneficiary?

This war was not thought through. It was not only mismanaged, it was an historic strategic blunder to begin with.

Any U.S. war to overthrow Iran's enemies — the Taliban in Kabul, Saddam and his Sunni Baathists in Baghdad — cannot but result in making Iran more dominant in the Gulf when the Americans depart. By eliminating the counterweight to Iranian domination, we guaranteed that either we become that counterweight, or there is none."

"The judge said there was a pattern to Mr. Brown's efforts to keep all whites out of the county's Democratic Party, including holding party caucuses in private homes rather than public voting precincts and inviting only blacks to the meetings."
Blacks violated Voting Rights Act, federal judge rules
"If the same facts were presented to the court on behalf of the rights of black voters, this court would find that [the Voting Rights Act] was violated," Judge Lee said in his ruling.

Whilst I believe the majority of muslims in Britain are not hard core terrorists, I am the only person puzzled by the lack of condemnation from high ranking influential clerics and muslim support groups. I am sure if this kind of thing was being perpertrated in another country by British terrorists, the British people would be the first to stand up and march in protest of these vicious attacks. Maybe some kind of action of this type would help moderate muslims intergrate a little better in our society....or maybe they secretly back these hardliners!!!

I hear many people quite rightly saying that the Muslim population should repsect our laws, and that we don't go to their countries and change their laws.

But isn't that exactly what we have done in Iraq, Afganistan and most importantly Palestine? Nobody there wanted us, and we have made a right mess of it. Most of the problems in Iraq are between themselves, but this is becuase we demolished the infrastructure and imposed our rules which clearly do not work.

I'm not saying they're right, but aren't we a bit hypocritcal?
