cheney received six deferrments to service in vietnam.
he stated that he had 'other priorities.'
and yes, cheney admits that, what i don't understand is why anyone in the usa would ever consider him to be fit to hold public office...

At least he admits he deferred. Many did it. But Cheney has given back more than he got with his service to this country.
