Does the U.S. government need a cabinet-level Department of Political Correctness to force people to be more politically correct?

In England they call the 4'th "Freedom from America Day", hoping for when we split off from the Empire. I'm happy for America though,since the British were bullying you around pretty bad back then.

Our Revolutionary War seemed to be founded on basic principals of Life, Liberty and Persute of Happiness. Now it seems to be oriented to greed, power and forcing others to follow our questionable example. Any thoughts?

What kind of a target do you think they will strike. The FBI thinks it will be an elementary school with children ages 6 to 12 years old and anticipate casualties of at least 250-300. I say after the start of the next school year, maybe September.

when the democratic history is this...

If Democrats are going to demand apologies for historic crimes, they need to inform themselves better about their own party's history. The following racial crimes were perpetrated throughout American history by The Democratic Party, its leaders and supporters:

Preserving and enhancing the legal-standing of the institution of slavery in the ante-bellum South against all humanitarian calls for reform;
Extending the peculiar institution of slavery into Texas and Missouri;
Attempting to extend the institution of slavery into California, Kansas and other US territories and states;
Extending into free-states the slave-masters' legal right to retrieve their "property", escaped slaves. (Dred Scott);
Initiating the secession of the Southern states to preserve slavery upon the election of Abraham Lincoln, a Republican with abolitionist views;
Undermining the North's resolve to preserve the Union and emancipate the slaves (Democrat Copperheads)

Or is it very sad? Corporate welfare goes against the free enterprise system, competition,fairness and economic Darwinism (survival of the fittest) limited industries vital to the economy and national security notwithstanding. This is the basis of Conservativism. Keeping a dieing business afloat is in no way Conservative.

... That their government, whatever its defects, is still better than any other,
... That their government system (i.e. a democracy) is the only desirable one,
... That their economy is the only viable economy,
... That their lifestyle is the most comfortable in the world, etc. etc.

I'm Taiwanese and British but I WON'T claim that my countries are the best at anything. Taiwan and the UK both have their advantages and disadvantages, and so does the US.

And I'm not saying that democracy is bad. Of course I'd generally prefer a democracy to a dictatorship, but some Americans can be so narrow-minded in discussions about different government systems!!

It's crazy.Rapist,prostitutes,d r u g s,obesity,racism,suicide,homicide etc etc.

Every day somebody gets murdered in the U.S.I don't see why this country is like this.

And it seems like the government is doing nothing to prevent this country's mistakes.

Is this a sign that the U.S is falling apart?
