Interesting idea but there are some issues which need to be resolved first:
1. Uniting all the countries in Europe for a common cause or invasion.
2. Assuming that Europe will be able to defeat the U.S.
3. Aftermath of the invasion:
a. if Europe wins, who will govern the US?
b. if Europe is defeated, what will the US do with all the defeated Europeans who would like to migrate to the US as refugees ?

Not a chance the Europeans have completely forgotten that freedom isn't free. The US is the only thing that keeps them from being invaded by other countries.

I think they have their own problems....
".....Gordon Brown has banned ministers from using the word “Muslim” in Âconnection with the Âterrorism crisis.
Officials insist that no direct links with Muslim extremists have been publicly confirmed by police investigating the latest attempted terror attacks. Mr Brown himself did not refer to Muslims or Islam once in a BBC TV interview on Sunday.
Ms Smith also avoided any such reference in her statement to MPs yesterday.
She said: “Let us be clear – terrorists are criminals, whose victims come from all walks of life, communities and religions. Terrorists attack the values shared by all law-abiding citizens. As a Government, as communities, as individuals, we need to ensure that the message of the terrorists is rejected.”

"....The new European Union treaty will mean "transfers of sovereignty" from Britain and Gordon Brown is right to hide the fact from the public, an EU leader admitted yesterday.........Jean-Claude Juncker, Luxembourg's premier and leader of the bloc of 13 single currency members, spoke out as the Prime Minister faced rising calls for a referendum on the treaty drawn up following the rejection of the old EU constitution by French and Dutch voters in 2005...........Mr Juncker said he supported public debate on the treaty - except in Britain........"Britain is different. Of course there will be transfers of sovereignty. But would I be intelligent to draw the attention of public opinion to this fact?"

Unlike the US, Europe tends not to interfere in matters which do not concern them - especially where governments are concerned. It wasn't Europe who funded revolutions in south america because the people there voted for the wrong people.

I don't know, are the French ready to retreat when their attack is repelled and we go on a counter attack and occupy their territory?
