Is genocide the only answer? Is there a way to co-exist with a group of people who are willing to kill themselves and their children in the farcical belief that there are 72 virgins waiting in paradise for martyrs? Why 72 virgins? Are they sexually repressed? What is the answer to dealing with these people?

You can't... To deal means that there are values on both sides of the debate, that both sides would benefit from the interaction. Any concession at all by the rational side to the irrational side is total capitulation.
1. In any conflict between two men (or two groups) who hold the same basic principles, it is the more consistent one who wins.
2. In any collaboration between two men (or two groups) who hold different basic principles, it is the more evil or irrational one who wins.
3. When opposite basic principles are clearly and openly defined, it works to the advantage of the rational side; when they are not clearly defined, but are hidden or evaded, it works to the advantage of the irrational side.
The only alternative to reason and persuasion is the use of physical force.

Oh and regarding the 72 version part, I heard that Mohammed was a total sex fanatic and all he ever wanted to do was have sex with virgins and stuff. Weird, whatever.
