Ok, EVERYONE is entitled to thier own opinion.....I agree, However, just because a celebrity has the right to free speech, it does not mean I have to agree with them and run out and buy their albums. So why were people so upset about the consequences the Dixie Chicks faced when they made their statement about the president.

No I do NOT agree with the death threats, that is wrong, but declining albums sales, boycott of radio stations, cancelled concert dates, are all consequences that they had to deal with.

We all have possible consequences when we open our mouths to speak, why should they be different?

For a view on what is occuring today, I urge those with a Conservative perception to read Paul Craig Roberts. If Conservatives would like to find out what's going on, one of the best sources is the Conservative columnist Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of State under Reagan, and member of both the Hover and Cato Institute. His take on the damage to America and the Republican Party by Bush and Cheney will open a lot of eyes to the truth. This is an individual whose roots are deep in the Republican Party, so you are not going to be reading a Democratic spin on the issues. Check out Mr. Roberts for the true Conservative view of this administration.

Don't you think that he would have replaced Cheney with a Vice President who might be elected in '08? I think he knew, before the last Presidential elections, that Iraq was going to keep ANY Republican candidate from winning in '08. Or am I giving Bush too much credit for having foresight?

This is the deal. My little brother (who is now 17) has been home schooled ALL his life. Not only was his home schooleing LOUSY, he hasnt been doing his school for the last....1 and a half to 2 years. Whos fault is this? MY MOTHERS! It is her position to educate him and if she CANT, she has to send him to public school. What grade are you supposed to be in at age 17? Junior OR Senior right? Guess what grade he would HAVE to start out in if he were to go to public school now? He would have to start out in 8th GRADE! This is absolutley rediculous, and I would place her educational neglect on him up with CHILD ABUSE. So, heres my question, is there any agency that I can call in to have her locked up and or have her punished somehow? This is uncalled for, hes not a dog that you can just train whenever you FEEL like it. He doesnt know anything, a 17 year old should be OUT of algebra 2 and he doesnt even know the very basics of algebra.

would protect against terrorism and drug money laundering by keeping track and record of all transactions, many of these "small businesses" and convenience stores money launder and don't give receipts, gov. feels ok if pay taxes (like al capone, mainly charged for not paying taxes on ill-gotten gains lol), but no record of transaction, wouldn't it be good then you could return your rotten milk and have a record of purchase lol place in bone where could not be removed easily, and bone would show tampering lol
