I am not pleased with the way he handles the borders, and taxes and how he lays down for the Demon-crats. I do support Him as he is the President.

The problem goes beyond George W Bush.
I've never liked him. Immediately after 911, not just me but other liberals were willing to put aside partisan differences. That time was all too short. The reason the American public divided so fast had to do with the way 911 was exploited.
It went beyond George W. Bush to people who were behind the scenes in Washington, (people whom are unelected by the way), I'm talking about the AEI, Heritage Foundation, lobbyists and think tanks, and shills for defense contractors.
They work on both "Demon-crats" and "Republicans".
And part of what's being done is hiding behind the flag, 911, and our troops while shredding the Constitution, not giving our troops proper armor and looting the treasury.
One of my best friends during all this is a die hard Libertarian conservative. He is one of the most vocal Bush critics I've ever heard!
And he's right when he says that laws (like the ones regarding CIA identities, FISA, lying to Congress) ARE IMPORTANT! The Constitution IS IMPORTANT! (Signing statements are illegal, the Persident must obey the law!)
I support you and your commitment to defend the Constitution with your life! But nowhere in the Constitution does it say that those who lead us during a crisis get a free pass and are not responsible for thier actions! And if any accountability is going to come, it is going to have to come from the population, the military MUST obey its orders.
The mission is important, but if Mistakes (this question just implied that he does make mistakes) are made by those we elect and those we don't who other than the legisature can hold them accountable?

If the Conservatives really would like to find out what's going on, one of the best sources is the Conservative columnist Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of State under Reagan, and member of both the Hover and Cato Institute. His take on the damage to America and the Republican Party by Bush and Cheney will open a lot of eyes to the truth. This is an individual whose roots are deep in the Republican Party, so you are not going to be reading a Democratic spin on the issues. Check out Mr. Roberts for the true Conservative view of this administration.

EDIT: Yes I did read it wrong. And I humbly apologize. In my defense I didn't go to sleep last night. My bad.

Answer:
Some of my conservative friends state that he is wrong on a few issues. But unfortunately some still think he is right on everything (it must be great to have a president in office who agrees with everything you say). It's only natural to disagree with anyone on some issues. I think some feel they are giving into liberal demands if they admit Bush is wrong on a few things - since it seems like everyone tries to go against him.

You are right the border situation is the biggest failure of this adminstration, but I bet there is not one democrat who would do anything about it either. Until enough people demand the borders are closed and deport the illegals here I will be continually dissappointed in our government.

You got it right! I would also like to add that his poll numbers are probably down because conservatives like you and I feel that way. I fell like he gives in sometimes to the very people who want him to fail and that bugs the crap outta me.

But I support him as your Commander-in-Chief, you, the troops, and the mission. It is only natural for we as Americans to want to see and end in sight, but we can not possibly understand the complexity of it all. (If we knew everything, so would the enemy). Good Luck, we pray for all of you, and we thank you for the job you do.

I don't like the way he panders to the Dim-o-krauts myself... however in a Democrat congress he doesn't have much of a choice. I support the President no matter who he is... and border security does need some help... but don't expect another party to do any better

Based on your question below, it is apparent that you are a racist and are a true all American hicksville repuke. You have therefore evidenced the claim that your party is a bunch of bigots.
