Military - December 2007

I'd like to go to boot camp for the discipline and physical challenges, but do not want to serve time after.

My father also use to have my Grandfathers 303 Riffle, a hand grenade (not sure which era) with the pin, or the detonator removed ! As kids we found this and to our Mothers shock use to play soldiers on the farm. Those were the days, jumping out of a barn window, landing 10 feet below to kill Germans or if you really wanted blood the Japs (usually your cousin or younger brothers)!

Question being does anyone else have authentic War equipment ?

i have two sisters in the Army (both active duty) and i was like sobbing during this.

And i know a lot of familes will be missing their soilder during the holidays so just take a moment and pray for all our troops and their families.

((And if you don't support our troops then sorry buddy but F-U))

i dated a guy for 2 years in the navy. i knew he had a son by another woman which was fine. In may of 2007 he got deployed and before he did he went and married the mother of his child in april ( I DIDNT KNOW). He came back from deploymant (MARRIED) and got me pregnant. when i told him i was he came out and told me everything, he just told her and she was mad at first but know she dont care?!? He is living in hawaii know with her and there son. Is there anything that can be done? he did commit adultry right? left me here hanging?? he want s to be our sons life and is gunna pay childs support, but i am furious how easily he got away with that!!

.......box, as entertainment for the troops?

I heard where the army's special animal training section (SATS) is training a number of kangaroos to take part in boxing matches in Iraq as entertainment for bored troops.

Now that they don't have Bob Hope to put on shows the intention is for each base to have their own kangaroo to represent them & fight against other bases' boxing kangaroos. The kangaroos wont wear shorts, like boxers do, but will be distinguishable by different colored boxing gloves.

It's a wonder the animal rights groups allow this to take place - or don't they know about it, does anyone know?

I know this has been asked, but I'm asking in regards to the show ABC "duel". There was a question, how many branches are in the military & government combined? They gave the answer as executive, judiciary, congress, and then navy, army, marines, air force, and coast guard.

Couldn't it be argued that the Coast Guard and Marines fall under the Navy? Sounds pretty vague to me.

My husband is thinking about joining the National Guard it is 8 yrs. I thought with other branches of the military you can sign up for just 2 years at the lowest?

he refuses to salute the flag and say the pledge of allegiance, plus he converted to muslim(i have no prob with these people) and with whats going on in the world i dont think a muslim president would be the right choice, anyway do u as soldiers want this guy in command and do u think he blew his chance of winning the election?

I have been hearing rumors about it over the past couple of months. If so, are there ways to get out of it? For example, I heard that if you are an only son, the only way you can get in is by volunteering, and they can't force you into it. Also, will the draft apply only to men or to women also?

At Gallipoli Aussie "Diggers" who were actually lighthorsemen whent over the trenches on suicidal bayonet charges at the well entrenched Turkish defences, being cut down by machine gun fire! Do you think you could bring yourself to go over the trenches or would you shoot the CO instead ? The Bravery is amazing, but the waste in human life is unbelievable, knowing that soldiers were massacred whilst Brittish Officers sipped cups of tea on an unchallenged beach astounds me!

Many of Terrys classmates in highschool were drafted and served and died in Viet Nam while Terry used a deferment to play football. I would like to know how many people feel this was fair. i know the liberals Slick Willie Clinton dodged it too but that does not make it right. Show of hands?

I'm eighteen years old. My parents recently separated and I am currently homeless. I'm living in my car at the moment. My father was physically abusive, so I've disassociated from my family. I do not have any friends or family members who can help me. I really have no idea what to do with my life. My grades are suffering because of my bad situation - I got 4 As this semester, but also failed a class, and I don't think I can live like this much longer. I'd like to join the Air Force, I think, but I'm not sure how or what to do or anything. Could I get an education while in the Air Force? I'm a very motivated person so if I have a purpose and goals to work for, I can definitely accomplish them, but I just don't know what to do and there's no one to help. Unfortunately, I don't really have any particular skills or talents, and my education is pretty shoddy due to the abuse/neglect. I basically just need a lot of information on joining the Air Force, and the best way to go about it.

i am going to buy my own air force of about 1200 fighter jets, something like an f22. because people have tried to assasinate me so many times. and yes i am serious.

I know the Marines are a department of the Navy and have General ranks but since they are a department of the Navy wouldnt that mean their is some Admiral that commands them?

the place to train is pokemon league or victory road
if your training in victory road dont ever run away from the pokemons
or you can battle triathlate Dylan or Cyndy or isaac
or you could battle gabby and ty those who have camera then they battle you first time you battle them there would be route 118 then the second place is 120 then the third place is 111
so first you go to route 118 then route 120 then 111 again and again i trained my trapinch like that it was level 20 then i did these things then it was 28 now it evolved into Vibrava and level 43 and its going to evolve into flygon at level 45
if this worked just tell but i'm not lying really even try it its the awesome training if it worked just tell me heres my email

650,000 iraqi civilians are dead since we got in!!..
No one talks about that!!
Dont get me wrong;
I am not saying US troops killed all of them...
But you cant deny this;
They died because of the after-war politics of USA.
That country will be f***ed up for the next 25 years I think..

Im trying for HM (Hospital Corpsman) after bootcamp and we head of to A school what happens if you fail A school do you get rolled back or what? Not that Im saying im going to fail just curious. Another question will they automatically put me in FMSS school or will i have to request it because I want to join the Marines in the field. Thanks in advance for any help.
