If a presidential candidate is ashamed of wearing the flag or saluting it, he has no business leading under it, much less defending it. And yes; technically, under law, he is supposed to place his hand over his heart when the anthem is being played in an official capacity. It's not necessarily a citable offense; but as a leader, you're supposed to set an example for your constituents. Anyone who thinks that they don't have to set an example for others has no business being in a leadership position. Period.

I do not care for Obama's politics and do not support him but the things you outlined above are not true to spread lies and making it look like facts is just not right. He is not a Muslim-he attended a Muslim school as a child but is a Christian by his upbringing-though I think even talking about his religion is a sign of bigotry. He did forget to salute a flag once and a camera caught it and it has been shown thousand of times-I have seem many times when he did prior to that and he did; he did not do a military salute because he is not in the military-he placed his hand over his heart like some civilians do. He thinks the words "under God" should be taken out of the Pledge of Allegiance and that is his right, they were not in the Pledge of Allegiance for years until they were added. Doesn't bother me either way.

1. He is a Christian and he never spent one day in a Maddrasa in Indonesia in his youth.
2. The Pledge of Allegiance was written for the Boy Scouts magazine over a century ago. It has no relevancy in government law or practice.
3. This is not a war against Muslims. It is a war against those who are the "Ku Klux Klan" of Islam.
4. I spent twenty five years in the Navy. In so doing I took a vow to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Article Six of that document says there will be no religious test for office. So, I don't care if the President worships goats on a hillside at midnight during a full moon. I only need that person to be faithful to his oath and carry out the duties of his office laid out in Article Two of the Constitution.
5. Mister Guiliani and I are both native sons of Brooklyn. He is also one who held a Federal commission as a U.S. Attorney. And he would find great fault with your analysis and the spelling of his name as I do.

First of all he is not a muslim. He is united Church of Christ. Thats straight from the Congressional website after 5 seconds on google. http://www.congress.org/congressorg/bio/?id=3181 .
Civilians do not salute the flag. It would bring dishonor to the men and women who have earned that right to do so.
I do not know his reasons for not saying the pledge of allegiance. Personally I would like to see a valid source to this effect. I do know that there is a number of people (myself included) that will not say the Pledge of Allegiance until it is restored to is original (Pre-Red scare) glory.

so you have no problem with Muslim people but you have a problem with a Muslim president... you have a funny way of thinking.
plus nobody is required to say the pledge of allegiance anymore. that @sshole atheist that took it to the supreme court because of the words "under god" won the 2nd time around. all the elementry schools and high schools in my area dont say it anymore
Edit: it makes more sense to stop genocide then stay in Iraq and die for nothing

He doesn't have experience??
I have a 12 year old cat. he has plenty of experience in being a cat. but he's still a cat.
Personally, this year, we're scraping the bottom of the barrel. There isn't one, either Dem or Rep who i feel good about.
My only hope is, the parties realize by next year we're going to be sick of them and the endless debates and blowing smoke-
and at the conventions they roll out someone no one ever considered, but has a following and convinces us he is running because his country needs him, not because he is on a self-serving ego trip.

I never knew about the not saluting the flag thing. Really curious to know why he did that. Seems like a premeditated insult.

Wake up and smell the roses, people. He comes from a strong muslim background (father was very active) and now attends a radical racist church. Of course, he is still the best Democratic option. None of us want Hillary the Socialist. Now me, I'm all for Mike Huckabee.

I am not a soldier anymore, but if I were, I would not be that hot to have a novice politician as my president and commander-in-chief. He has no experience and no knowledge of foreign affairs, defense issues, or homeland security.
