They keep picking me up and slamming me into wall lockers at a health club until I passed out. All the time they were laughing about it. Now my back is injured.

My husband is deploying to Iraq in 3 weeks. (right before the holidays) :( I am really lost with what I should send with him. I'm looking for some ideas on waht he may need while he is there that the Army will not provide him with. This is our first deployment and I'm looking for any help I can get as far as some good ideas of what he may need to take with him! I have so many questions... but this is the one that is bothering me the most because I have to get him all these things by Dec1 when he leaves. My family is bugging me for ideas of things to get him too before he goes. I have no clue what to tell them. Any help would be great!!! Thank You soooo much!!

Had this large Decal on her back window on her SUV. Today, I noticed it was gone and she has a "The war in Iraq is wrong". Should I ask why she changed her mind?

Every week I ask young men with decals on their vehicle to join the Marines or Army. (Decal will read "I support the troops") They always look at me as if they are drinking lemon juice. Can I change their mind?

I would love to get an answer from both sides. People are dying, and I think i for one am sick of it. Here's my humble American take on things: Israelis have a right to go to work without being blow to bits, after all, we're talking civilians, kids! That means a right to defend herself. Palestinians have a right to live in the homes their grandparents created, not be kicked out and have their mosques and hospitals bulldozed to sht, not to have bombs hitting their houses by accident. Israel was created by a third party after ww2, and they feel they rightly won more territory in 67.but they must accept the fact that Palestinian people LIVED there and didn't need to be kicked out. Therefore, some territory needs to be given up, and not just the crappiest driest stretches of arid desert, but fertile land. Palestine needs to deal with the fact that Israeli people have a pretty good claim to some of that land-thousands of years of being there, never mind the bible. Can't they just do this?

Since a child, i was always impressed and passioned by the advanced military technology and fire super power the United States has.

The F-117 night hawk, B52, B51, F15/16/17, Raptor F22, Anti missile system, UAV drones, spy satellites, naval power (aircraft carriers), hawax, bla bla bla ... all the huge military stuff with the computer super power. And all else, the information network of the NSA, FBI, CIA and the rest that do even have an official name.

Even with all the above, more than 1000 US soldiers are dead in Iraq, Bin Laden is in nature, Iran is playing with US diplomacy, North Korea has nuclear capabilities, etc.

Well, what the hell is the problem? U got the WTC, Embassy bombing and ur own aircraft carrier got bombed at bay. Sorry 2 say that but the US military power is useless. Waste of tax payers' money. Stay at home, save starving children and protect nature. Use ur money wisely.

while the soldiers and military are off fighting in our steads, and they can not be with their families and loved ones? Are you thankful that you can wake up each day and know you'll have a life, while they are over there not knowing from one moment to the next what their fate will be? Let us take time this season, more than once, to thank goodness we are safe and have the luxury of complaining while others are risking their lives in a war that hasn't shown much purpose. Let us take time to send warm vibes to those so far away from home. Let us take time to think about how fortunate we are compared to those in the would who would give anything to have our problems rather than their own. Let us take the time so send a quick thought of peace to all those suffering in the world today. Can I get an "Amen"?

My brother (in the US Army) left for Iraq yesterday, the same day as my boyfriend (who I'm very serious with) left for basic training for the Marines. I know these are two very different situations and I was wondering what things I can do to be there for both of them. I'm writing my boyfriend everyday and being supportive and encouraging and I talked to my brother yesterday too. Is there anything else I can do? I just want to be the best I can be for them both.

What are advantages and disadvantages of fixed and foldable butts? Why two versions of same rifles are manufactured, one with foldable and othere with fixed like Indian INSAS and Excalibur assault rifles. Wouldnt it be simpler to produce only one version (preferably foldable)?

I have a good friend back home who's husband has been to Iraq and is back home now and he is fine. But she still has problems dealing with him being there, in danger and away from her and their family. She thinks this is odd, I have to agree I don't know why she still feels stressed out now that he has returned home safe and sound. So I thought I'd ask if any other wives have experienced this feeling before to hopefully make her feel more normal.
