When this one ends, another one will begin. Check your history books everyone. War is here to stay until judgement day.

Only the dead have seen the end to war. - Plato

For Iraq and/or Afghanistan what will happen when the war ends depends in a HUGE part on how it ends.

If the US and allies leave too soon then the immediate aftermath would be an ethnic cleansing of Iraq. Tens if not hundreds of thousands would be purged in a very short time frame.

Girls will no longer be allowed to go to school.

Turkey will have a HIGH probability of invading northern Iraq.

Iran will have a high probability of annexing a large portion of Iraq.

Saudi Arabia will invadie southern Iraq IF Iran makes any move on any portion of Iraq. (Formal declarations under this scenario are already in place)

High probability of regional war. Should this occur there will be a high probability of global recession due to a near complete disruption in the flow of oil. (think great depression)

The scenarios run on this possiblity are nearly all BAD. The "acceptable" results for those who love human life and respect and/or desire world peace have a near ZERO probability of being pleased with what occurs.

Does this help any? If you read news on teh net. Drudgereport, Foxnews, CNN along with a number of foreign news sources (including German, French etc.) These thing will begin to become self evidnet.

P.S. I choose Fox, CNN, and Drudge to balance what I read hear and learn. All sources have a bias. You wish to get away from teh bias choose sources from both sides and you will be able to self filter the spin.

If your candidate wins in '08, terrorists know (as the rest of us do) socialists will never, ever defend the USA. There would be a great deal of "big talk" but at the end of the day, your liberal leaders would defer to the United Nations and then take the side of the enemy.

Just because Bush made a mistake going into Iraq, does not mean liberalism is validated. If Gore had won in 2000, we would certainly have had another 911, probably much worse, because Gore would not have defended the USA, would not have gone to Afghanistan or done anything, but talk BIG.

I've been praying for this war to end. I wish it would soon. I hate war and conflicts. I hope we are not in danger. I just want the troops to come back. Why can't the war just end? This is useless. :( We can't vote for Bush again. he already has been president for 8 yrs.

The war in Iraq, yeah most likely. But there will never be a day without war. Osama probably didn't even plan 9/11, he's just some tall man on dialysis taking the blame for it to divert attention from the real people (though he's all for what happened). I still hope that he gets caught because it was his choice to own up.

The war will never end, because every time one of the libs opens their mouth to say the war is lost or the war is wrong, they embolden the terrorist, by their statments. Go ahead keep blaming Bush, and keep telling the world that the lib cowards in congress have no backbone for war, and you will get to see the war up close and personnel when it comes to a neighborhood near you.

It is not about oil. again this is a lib reason, because they need another reason to hate Bush. Look up U.N. resolutions against Iraq. The U.N. authorised any member nation to go into Iraq because Saddam refused any and all attempts to verify his W.M.D.s. Saddam murdered entire tribes of his own people just to test his weapons, So what makes you think he would not kill you, if he got the chance.

Yes the war on terrorism will end. When all the terrorists are rooted out and brought to justice. Are we in danger? Sure are. Everyday, there are countless attempts by terrorists to attack American citizens and American property.

I would vote for Bush again if he could run. We are fighting for the safety of our citizens at home and abroad. Where is Osama? Somewhere in Pakistan.

not as long as the neo-cons are in power

they are using the same strategy the Nazis did to justify thier hold on power (remember Germany was a democracy when Hitler was first elected then GIVEN additional powers after the burning of the Riechstag)

the central idea is to create a shadowy enemy (jews and communists in germany, terroists and islamo-facists for the neocons) someone you can not ever really beat becuase you want the war to continue into perpetuity

Hitlers war started when "jews and comms" supposedly burned the Reichstag, the symbol of Germany at the time

our war started with "terrorists" destroyed the Twin Towers, the symbol of the US

Hitler then invaded Russia after taking over all of Western Europe, it was to keep his people united in a grand cusade against communism, what patriot could dissagree with that? millions volluntarily joined the military to go fight in the begining

after we took out the Taliban and things looked like they were dying out in Afganistan, bush had to invade Iraq to keep people willing to give up thier freedoms so bush could enlarge his imperial powers

now that iraq is simmering down, who is next

well they have already told us that

Iran
