I would love to get an answer from both sides. People are dying, and I think i for one am sick of it. Here's my humble American take on things: Israelis have a right to go to work without being blow to bits, after all, we're talking civilians, kids! That means a right to defend herself. Palestinians have a right to live in the homes their grandparents created, not be kicked out and have their mosques and hospitals bulldozed to sht, not to have bombs hitting their houses by accident. Israel was created by a third party after ww2, and they feel they rightly won more territory in 67.but they must accept the fact that Palestinian people LIVED there and didn't need to be kicked out. Therefore, some territory needs to be given up, and not just the crappiest driest stretches of arid desert, but fertile land. Palestine needs to deal with the fact that Israeli people have a pretty good claim to some of that land-thousands of years of being there, never mind the bible. Can't they just do this?

And no religious nonsense. Just humans, trying to find a way to live. There should be a mutual defense treaty too, that both Israel and the newly created Palestine must defend eachother against, say, that nutjob serial killer in Iran. I mean, why all the bickering? Hey, you each gotta let go of a part of your claim, get over it, right? Can this ever happen?

Again, you can't base real life on a religion that not everyone believes. Thats about as fair as saying, My religion entitles me to your house and your husband. Israel has a historic claim. Do you really think GOD wants to KILL PEOPLE? Again, seeking LOGICAL answers from rational people. Thanks, but I really don't care what your version of God requires for you to feel blessed.

Oh and I didn't mean to discredit the hard work of the settlers! I simply state that a third party was responsible for clearing the way and CREATING the nation. But again, it needs to condensed and simplified! As long as we base this issue on anything other than human rights for both parties, death will be the only winner!

You're misinformed about many aspects here. Including Israel being created from outside. It certainly was not.

The establishment of Israel was the result of 150 years of Jewish-Zionist land reclamation, through land purchases and hard labor.

Do some more thorough research and see if you're conclusion changes:

Here's an (all too honest) quote from the PLO, in the 1970s:

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism."

Trying to condense the Israel/Palistinian problem down to a couple of paragraphs is impossible. There are so many issues involved.
But you are wrong in one important detail. Israel was not created by some third party. Israel was created by the hard work of settlers that moved there. The UN recognized Israel, but did not create it.

First, you ned to educate yourself on the problems.
1. No one cleared the way or created Israel except the themselves.
2 The majority of Israel's citizens are Sephardic. That is, they resettled in Israel after being kicked out of the muslim countries in 1949-52. With no compensation for property they were forced to abandon.
3 Technically, there were no Palistinians before 1948. They were citizens of Jordan ( then Trans-Jordan).
4 No refugee group has been held in camps as long as the Palistinians. This has nothing to do with Israel, but is caused by the unwillingness of the muslim governments to absorb their co-religionists.
5 No Arab government or Palistinian leader has negoiated in good faith to solve the problem.

Most of today's Israelis are descendents of immigrants since WW2.
There will be no peace until the Palestinians get back their land

This has everything to do with God and the bible. This is the promised land that God gave to the Israelites. Israel should never give up any of their land. If they do not obey God they will not be blessed. Why do you see so many people want to wipe Israelites off the face of the earth. I suggest you read the Bible to know why this land is so important.
