that Bush is responsible for the deaths of almost 4,000 US troops in Iraq?

4,000 US troops that didn't need to die if Bush had never invaded Iraq or were killed because Bush never had a plan for dealing with a major insurgency in Iraq.

Im an irish soldier, and i know when i signed up, i was told that i was never, while serving Ireland, allowed to be politically active or join any subversive organisations and must remain netural. However i recieved some int on british troops in basrah parading round and taking pictures of themselves wearing the uniform of the british army with an orange sash representing the orange order in northern ireland. This order is completly anti-catholic with members like ian paisly who in european parliment called pope john paul an anti-christ. Not only this but the photos were sent to a magazine where they were published. This magazine belongs to a neo-nazi group called combat 18. So here they are in an anti catholic organisation and published in an anti jew, black, packastani, catholic etc magazine. Where are the genrerals who take care of these racist problems?

I keep reading and searching the web about Army boyfriends/husbands, but it just defaults to girlfriends, etc and all male spouses I found are also in the military. I am starting to feel that I am the only civilian man dating a woman in the Army! Anyone else out there? I feel like the black guy in Army Wives haha She is an officer and we have a great relationship, considering we only see each other like twice a month. (We don't live in the same state)..Just curious to see if anyone is in the same situation. I really do think I may be the only one.

Does "GOD" really take sides? Does God say "Well, The nice people in the USA prayed to protect Sgt Bill so I will". Then God kills the insurgents?

Say you are out on the town in your dress uniform (for say a wedding reception, grad-night, etc), and some officer comes-up to you and "corrects" you in public over some very minor uniform discrepancy, embarassing you infront of your significant other, family, and friends. Later, you find out that that guy was an imposteur/poser, a fake US Naval or Marine Corps officer.

I heard about about a guy posing as a Navy LT, said he was both a fighter pilot AND a Navy SEAL. I wonder if he ever did that.

It is my opinion that America should not have invaded Iraq in the first place on the wrong premise that it has weapons of mass destruction.

A document says that a relative got a mother's pension. We assume he had a brother that we do not know about that served in the Civil War and that his mother got the pension and then left it to our relative. Supposedly she never came to the US. Would she have to be naturalized to get the money or could she request it over in Ireland?

I showed them this...

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

- John Stuart Mill

How do feel about the support these young men and women are getting from the United States public? I am not talking about the right or wrong of the war. Just those brave people fighting it. I wish we had that when we returned to the land of the big px.

I was told as a kid about a friend's dad who was on board one of the "ghost fleet" battleships that was bombarding Normandy on D-Day. These were sunk at Pearl Harbor and raised in time to participate later in the war. I think the ship mentioned was the Texas. A huge 15 inch Nazi shell came crashing right through the side but failed to explode. It was rolling around below decks and no one knew what to do about it as they were "busy" laying shells of their own on Omaha Beach. One more bump and it could go off. It weighed as much as a Volkswagen. So a welder was sent down to secure a crude but sturdy frame around it by welding it to the deck. Later, when they had a safer time to take care of it, the shell was opened up. Instead of the usual Krupp detonator there was a block of wood! Inscribed on it in Hebrew were the words "Sorry I couldn't do more. God bless America!" Some Jewish slave in a striped uniform risked his life in a Nazi shell factory by pulling the switch. Neat, huh?

disturbed and confused children who had to withness all these killings and distruction, they are the future of that country.

All I did was show them this.....USa News: — The American military said on saturday that it was investigating a Thursday evening airstrike on a stronghold of insurgent leaders northwest of Baghdad that also killed "nine children" and "six women". The civilian toll is one of the highest to result from a single American military action since the beginning of the Iraq war. The war supporters stated they don't approve of the actions of the USA and regret this happened.

I support my husband and our soldiers that are risking their lives for us but I 100% don't agree with having this war! I think President Bush is a childish moron who is only keeping our troops in Iraq just to say to america "you can't tell ME what to do!"... I've tried to discuss this with my husband but it's almost like he doesn't care. He doesn't care whos right and whos wrong, he just knows that someone has to defend our counrty and he wants to be a part of it.
Even authority figures involved in the war say that its pointless.
I know I'm probably going to regret asking this, I must... What is your veiw on the war and president Bush?
I want to know the good and bad because I really don't have anyone to talk about this with.
