Sadly very few if any are still alive.

Apparently people on here seem to thing GW Bush is old enough to even be in WW2. Now George HW Bush was a pilot in WW2 however he didn't fly fighters, he flew a torpedo bomber so he couldn't be an ace.

Yes, although with each passing year there are fewer.

There are also German, Russian, Romanian, French, Czech, Polish etc aces still alive as well.

Chuck Yeager is still alive.

The first person to make ACE in one day, by shooting down 5 aircraft in a single day.
