I'm graduating in May 2008 with a BA in Criminal Justice. It's to my understanding that i can enter as Lt plus obtain a sign on bonus because of my education. I currently work in pharmacy as a tech. What jobs could i do to incorporate my skills and education. My goal is to get into FBI or DEA. What job within the marines can i do to increase my chance to become accepted to DEA or FBI?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thank You

as to why the liberal argument that" WW2 only took 4 years to win " as if there is some comparison to our war on terror. I recently read it was a line in the new movie Lambs to Lions. I personally would think the fact that 400,000 americans were killed winning that war would shine a little light on the reality of the situation we are in now, 3100 + combat deaths in 4 years.

I mean, you dont have to support any wars, or even the president, or politics, but I think EVERYONE should support and repect our men and woeman who continue to fight to the values and freedoms we have started to take for-granted. Am I crazy, or i the newer generations too wrapped up in video games, drugs, and technically advanced lifestyles to even kno about modern events, let alone care?

If you guys know some history and if you are not fool enough to be brainwashed by american media, hollywood and its politics, you would know that usa has won no war since WW2 and it was gonna loose ww2 if it didnt use nukes.

Why america looses all the wars?

I think having good technology is important but having good, well trained, high moralled and higly disciplined soldiers is more important. USa has always failed to do that cause american soldiers get their wages then go to striptize bars to act like a typical redneck.
Of course not all american soldiers are like that and i am sure there are rly good and skilled 1s there but in general, they are terrible soldiers.

They couldnt even fight a bunch of filthy arabs.

So i belive thats the main reason usa has never won a war since ww2. because of its bad troops fighting for money , not for honour and national emotions.

so i would like to hear your opinions too

cheers

I am think of the Spartans defending the pass with their 300. But they had another 4 or 5 thousand helping them. Not given enough credit in the Spartan wake. The Persian Army under Xerxes is said to have numbered 600,000. But some say the army may have been as much as 2 million. With those numbers, good as the Greeks might have been, the Persions should have won simply with a continued attack which would exhaust the Greeks to the point they could not hold a weapon or even stand. This is not an isolated case either Romans, Mongols and others had similar actual wins over a superior number (Spartans lost but Greeks won the naval battle and sent the Persians home, though not before burning Athens) Yes, I know the Spartans had heavier armor and defended a pass so narrow that only about 3 could pass at a time. But the Persians had great bows capable of 200 yards and could fire accurately coming or going on horseback. And an arrow capable of 200 yards fired at 50 yards is pretty certain to.

Son-in-law is scheduled to go to MCRD-SD, is his wife entitled to BHA or any pay while he is at boot camp. I do not think so, when I went in mid 70's they were not. Have looked at www.marines.mil and searched pubs, could not find anything.
