If you guys know some history and if you are not fool enough to be brainwashed by american media, hollywood and its politics, you would know that usa has won no war since WW2 and it was gonna loose ww2 if it didnt use nukes.
Why america looses all the wars?
I think having good technology is important but having good, well trained, high moralled and higly disciplined soldiers is more important. USa has always failed to do that cause american soldiers get their wages then go to striptize bars to act like a typical redneck.
Of course not all american soldiers are like that and i am sure there are rly good and skilled 1s there but in general, they are terrible soldiers.
They couldnt even fight a bunch of filthy arabs.
So i belive thats the main reason usa has never won a war since ww2. because of its bad troops fighting for money , not for honour and national emotions.
so i would like to hear your opinions too
cheers

my major is political science so i know what a war is and i know the history as u can assume. USa idnt win a war since ww2.
If the output you gain is not better than the input you get, that means you have lost the war.
Vietnam, Cuba, Korea, they all were failures. so basickly, usa didnt get any benefits from them.
Do you know why usa fight against vietnam? or KoreA?
During the cold war, all the plans usa made has turned on itself. Today El Qaide ( an ex CIA supported organization) is now fighting against usa itself. isnt that also a failure?
do you guys know why usa supported and and empowered Bin laden during the cold waR? I would like to test your american's knowlledge.

Vietnam is still communist,
Gulf war 2 was a failure , you still deal with iraq today so you just temporarily shut iraq down for a time period.
Today Korea is still producing nuclear bombs, it is still communist. Same For Cuba. IRaq is not better than the past, there is a internal war goin on and more and more people keep dying.
Afgan war? Just 1 days ago Afgan terrorist bombed the pakistan and killed more than 100 civilians, so usa didnt win the war in afganistan, it just withdrawn.
Pro-Americanism made you blind, my friends :=)

yes i was a soldier for a period of 2 years.
Do you guys really know what winning a war means?
IT doesnt mean how much people you killed , it means if u reach your aim.
Communism was gonna die itself anyway. Communism is just a funny eutophia. It cannot practically be carried out.
Today Russia, holds, nukes, china is growing , it is still half communist regime, Same for korea. usa couldnt really reach its aim.
and I ama capitalist but i dont support emperyalist approach of usa at all.

I have been with american troops during a Nato Operation and no , you dont have the best troops.
You have got some skilled Special forces just like any significant military has but in terms of having the best troops, that is just an american way of blind fanatism.
Most american soldiers , i met were good guy but they were the lowest rate citizens of their country. they are poorly educated and trained. their moral was so low , they were keep telling ''what are we doing here, i wanna go back to home'', They are not well disciplined.. they were drinking in the nights sometimes.
For example, Israel and Korean soldiers , i would say way better than a regular american soldier. so stop fooling yourself.
Should i tell u the fact that you got the best tecnology along with russia and china though? But that doesnt make u win a war.
terrorist hide in the cave, they go out when u are done with f-22 bombin , u need to be experienced and well trained on gerilla war which usa is failin to do

YOU GUYS MUST BE JOKING BY SAYING YOU SAVED MILLIONS OF JAPANESE BY USING NUKES? THATS THE DUMBEST THING I HAVE ONLY HEARD FROM AMERICANS.
DIDNT YOUR TEACHERS AND MEDIA BOSS OR FAMILIES TELL YA THAT U WERE GONNA LOOSE THE WAR IF U DIDNT USE NUKES ON JAPAN. INVADING A NATIONALIST COUNTRY LIKE JAPAN WAS IMPOSSIBLE. THEY WOULD NEVER SURRONDER AND USA COULDNT WANNA SACRIFICE MILLIONS OF ITS SOLDIER AND COMMITED A WAR CRIME BY KILLING THE HUNDRED THOUSANDS OF INNOCENTS. YOU AMERICANS ARE BRAINWASHED LIKE HELL. I AM NOT GONNA WRITE MORE AFTER THAT SINCE IT'S POINTLESS TO ARGUE WITH YA GUYS.

because they allow deadbeats join the army. Vietnam was a failure and centre of CIA's drug smuggling operations. Grenada?? please. if you claim to be the force to be reckoned with, don't go attacking small nations like that. Cold War "win" was short-lived. Gulf was a disaster, the current war is putting US on the verge of economic collapse, but ignorant people are still letting themselves be brainwashed -suit yourselves, we'll see what happens when China comes to collect those trillions of dollars you borrowed to finance the most useless war you've ever been in

What about the first Gulf War? It seemed that the American military did pretty well there. Vietnam did not go so well, but American troops performed far better than the French.
Where do you get the idea that the United States would have lost the Second World War without "nukes". By the end of the war, the United States had the largest navy and air force, an army only second in size to the Soviet Union. However, as the USSR was fully mobilized, only about 85% of the US military and industrial might had been.
My minor was in political science, but my history major means more in stating that your ideas are basically bull****.

usa was not even the strongest country before WW2. IT is veyr hard to invade a country and especially an island like japan. I belive, usa was gonna loose the war if it didnt nuked the japan. That is also what many european historian belive and claim.
I think the way american people think is not compatible with that because they had to confess after killin thousands of civilians so their govenrment had choosen the way of brainwashing its nation with lies.
What would you expect american government and scolars to say? ''yes we were gonna loose the war so we killed hundred thousands of people''? Of course they wont. instead they make their peoppe belive that ''they saved the lifes of millions by nukin the japaneses :=).. That's the american way of propagandha. You dont have to go so far. just watch a hollywood movie such as ''Transformers'' (i gave that example because it is the most recent hollywood movie i watched) you will see how they are great and how american military techology is capable of dealing every conflicts whereas they are failing to fight against some guerillas.
WW2 has determined the balance of power. USA has also found so many techological and medical documents, experiments and projects belonged to nazi GERMANS when they occupied the camps of NAZIS. Where did all those technological developments come from after ww2?
I dont blame usa for anything they did in ww2. it was a world war and countries thing its self-interests, of course..
what bad is what usa have been doing since the cold war period. like supportin the terrorism and fighting against it, empowering countries such as iran and iraq and then dealing with them. its just so ugly emperyalist policy and american people are prevented from seeing those facts.
I rememeber that night before usa invasion, Bush was on the TVs and he said saddam has 24 hours then he will invade the iraq. That is a declaration of a war.
do you guys even know the international laws regarding wars?
Vietnam War, Gulf Wars, Korean War, They were real wars :) and They were not under the control of U.N.. American people are so funny. They cannot just accept to face with the Truhts.
Regards

Things like Korea, Viet Nam were police actions under SEATO.and UN. Beople died, certainly. But at the time they occurred, they were not technically, wars. Likewise, both Iraq wars were not the US alone but quite a number of other nations fighting as well.
As to the US losing WWII without the use of nukes, you're joking. We didn't use one of them on Tokyo because the city had already been destroyed by conventional albiet fire bombs. In fact more than twice as many died in Tokyo than in Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. Those conventional raids were a thousand B29's at a time around the clock till target destroyed. As to the atomic bombs, it took only one to destroy each city. They were used to terrify the Japanese to surrender, thus saving millions of Japanese lives as well as an estimated half million Americans. Seems to have worked.
You are wrong to that American troops fight for money. They fight for their country, honor, the flag, the Constitution, honor and most importantly freedom. The fact too is that the US has and has had some of the finest soldiers in the past 225+ years. I will, however put UK, Israeli, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Turkish, South Korean, Philippine and Thai soldiers right on par with American soldiers in bravery purpose, training. I have experience with fighting along side all. Obviously, the US is equipped better than most others named and certainly in greater number. No offence to the UK, which made possible the Armor on the Abrams as well as the main gun along with German development. Yes, though we, like everyone else, have politicians and and businesses that sometimes spoil efficiency, tactics and soldiers lives with poor decisions or equipment.
I also take exception with your term "filthy arab." I know many Arabs. They are not filthy nor are but a few terrorists or anything but honest, hard working people.
Your "cheers" seems to indicate a likelihood you are UK. But I know your assessments are not representative of the people in the UK. Fine if you don't like a certain individual in a country, even its leadership. But attack the culture, integrity, history and character of another, you are just demonstraiting you are a bigot, hypocrite and with your statements, how do I put this delicately? Just plain stupid!

The US hasn't won any wars since WWII (And it didn't even win that, The ALLIES did of which it was a PART) because it has yet to realize that when you invade a country, even if you defeat the military, if the populace disagrees with an enforced ideology, or agreed with the one you displaced then they will fight back.
Examples:
Vietnam: Communist Led and mostly supported on both sides of the border.
Afghanistan: Wanted to be left alone, akin to invading the US during 1900-1930, isolationist.
Iraq: Not a great regime, but was still better than outright war.
In essence the American propaganda, claims they have the moral high ground, but they do not, when you assume your ideology is inherently better than another's, you surrender that ground immediately. The current failures stem from the belief that American Capitalism/Democracy are the only correct ways.

Oh so your a politcal science major. You must be descended directly from Ares then huh. How about this put on a 90lb ruck, grab an M-4 and come and join any US infantry unit in the field training. If you can hack it for one day then you can open your mouth on US soldiers not being well trained. I bet you could not even last 5 miles on a 20k road march.
Oh and you say you know waht a war is. Ok what unit were you in, reading about war, playing SOCCOM, or watching Blackhawk Down is totally different from taking part in the real thing. I earned my CIB in Afghanistan, where did you get your combat patch.

I know some history as well, because I've probably lived through more of it than you. We won the Cold War. Two nations who were the only ones built on an ideology. Only one is around. The other one, the USSR, disappeared on Christmas Eve of 1991. Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990. We took the point with a UN Peace Enforcement Mission, destroyed most of the Iraqis armored capabilities, absolutely destroyed their command, control and communications and sent their air force fleeing for their lives into Iran. All at a cost of less than 100 Americans killed in action. We took on the Taliban regime in Afghanistan and, in less than one month, they came apart like the seams on a cheap suit.
So, you better make another trip to your history book. Because you sure as hell missed a lot. And you might want to pick up a dictionary as well.

Gulf war 1, expelling Iraq from Kuwait? It took a week.
Remember, "the mother of all battles".
The imperial guard surrendering to news photographers. Their mechanized infantry? The mother of all scrap heaps.
It was over before congress had a chance to try to run things.
Perhaps "An inconvenient truth?"

You are wrong.
1. USA didn't win WW2. USSR did the major job. USA just helped a bit, its Lend Lease program accounted for 6% (six percent) of what USSR produced.
Thanks guys for your trucks and canned meat, by the way.
2. USA won in tiny puny pathetic Grenada, combating a small company of Cuban stroibat (army construction unit).
3. USA did win a serious battle in Kuwait in 1991, expelling Saddam's forces.
