what will disqualify me to not be able to go in...list medical conditions and anything else that would be helpful..i also need some opinions from people who r in on how hard or easy it is to keep a relationship going in the military...bc my fiance will still be in college and he wont be able to go wherever i get stationed...but he said he will stay with me no matter what.... also how hard is it to get stationed where u want like ur first pick...how hard is it to get stationed where u want? thanx for all ur help anything will be helpful...but plz nuthin negative or down bc i will report u thx a bunch....

Honestly, this weapon was first developed when the Nintendo first came out.

Now there are Xbox 360s and super-advanced computers, and this bird hasn't fired a shot in anger yet.

Is this thing pork or something? The F-35 seems to be moving along steadily, why not this POS?

I bet a remote-controlled airplane from Wal-Mart could shoot an F-22 down by now, it's so old...

I asked the question earlier about what was the least dangerous job in the navy and marines and got comments like... stay home and ...ur not militray material etc... i just asked that question cuz my mom is like freaking out that im gonna get killed.

i dont really care im ready to die for the country im a superior physical shape and thinking of being a NAVY S.E.A.L. but my mom doesnt want me to die. but still......

I want to join the marines or the navy. What is the least dangerous job??
are there janitorial jobs like cleaning the ship and scrubbing the toilets and such??? if there is janitorial jobs do you get the same benefits as a person in the infantry unit???

Cuba and the US hate eachothers guts, yet they occupy apart of the island? Is it as simple as the US invaded, and set up a navy base there, and Cuba don't want to risk forcefully removing them? So there's nothing they can do about it.

Why can't I, a 62 year old Viet Nam Vet and Ft. Hood record holder for M16 expert firing, combat trained and willing to die for my country, volunteer to go to the Middle East so that a young man could come home. I'm 100% disabled vet who can still shoot a tight cluster at 350 meters. I can still drive a truck. I can't run, but I never had a reason to run. I'm getting paid anyway so I'm willing to earn it. I'm sick of seeing young men and women lose life or limb when their whole life is ahead of them. We've got it all wrong. Send the older of us who can serve. I'm not implying that my life is worth less than the younger warriors, just that I've lived most of it and I want to be used, not used up. Some may laugh at this notion, but I promise you that if we met eye to eye, you would not laugh. This country is taking good care of me. No one will hire me in my condition. I'm ready, willing, and able to kill again or die trying. So, anybody my age want to join me?

well, i popped on my pee test and they told me after 25 damn training days, so i was pretty much done with 1st phase

and i just want to know, cause i talked to my Marine corps. recruiter and he said i have to wait 2 years to get back into the Corps.

but he walked me to the ARMY guys, and they said i have to wait 6 months which isn't bad, so im going to do that and do a 2 year program

but i really wanted to know, how different is ARMY bootcamp compared to Marine corps. bootcamp

i mean, i got through the hardest part of Marine bootcamp

so ARMY boot shouldn't be hard at all right?

i mean, at MCRD san diego, we got yelled at, IT'd till we died, and did **** 1,000,000 times over and over till we got it right, then also not to forget YELL OUR ASSES OFF!

so like, do they yell "KILL" in army basic or what? any insight at all would help,

and if you think it should be easier than Marine bootcamp please tell me, cause i want to be prepared also
