What I find particularly disturbing is the last photo with the young child holding the sign. How can anyone do that to their child? These photos were taken at a funeral for a fallen soldier from Iraq. These horrible people were protesting his funeral and holding these disgusting signs up as his family and friends were attending. I have no idea where the anti-homosexual business comes from with this unless it is to further add insult to injury and they are just being nasty. (sidebar: I have no beef with homosexuals at all...these people are out of their minds!)

There is not a single conflict, the USA went in, with the exeption of Germany and Japan in WW2, where the war was won and the people concentrated peacefully, building back their country.
Why have we not learned from that, never to go in another country then the two?

This technology could mean knocking out our electrical lines for months and there would be no transportation, no refrigeration, no communication for our masses for months. Our people would starve to death. Since this is such a serious threat why are our borders not extended more than 10 miles out at sea? Why are we not making preparation to combat this type of threat? What the heck is our government doing? What say you, American?

We PCS in March to the U.K and we need to move our 2 cats overseas. I know they need to get a rabies shot then bloodwork to measure the amount of rabies vaccine, but after that what do I do? How do I put them on a plane, especially if we will be leaving in Feb for a family visit before we move to the U.K., I also know after the rabies they have to wait 6 months prior to entering the U.K. How are we going to do that if we will be there March 1st, and they won't be able to get there until March 25. Im so confused!

I had to sign up for draft eligibility a few weeks ago after I turned 18, and was angry at the fact that I had no choice but to register because of the fact that I was both 18 and male. Why are females exempt from the draft? Thats pure bullshit. The letter said I could be fined 250,000 dollars and spend 5 years in prsion if i didnt register. What the hell? Im running to mexico or canada if the draft is reinstated.

Please just remember our fallen, our heroes, our innocent fellow Americans who lost their lives on the tragic day of 9-11-01. For one day put you personal opinions aside and just remember them and appreciate that those of us are still here and able to feel the warm sun and see our children play. Their are many who are not, and whatever your views are... just for one day have compassion for eachother no matter what religion, political pref.we are all still Americans and we are bonded by that day. I pray for all of us to never feel or see the same thing happen again, for my childrens sake and yours. God bless us all !

People say that after that event only Nehru suffered from paralysis attack on one side of his body from head to shoulder & later died on 27-05-1964. Was that allegation true ? How come teenagers at age 18 are not allow to drink, but they are allow to join the military. You can't have it both ways, you allow people you consider, to immature to make a rational decision for one thing that could kill you, but you allow for another. Either they raise the age of consent to join the military to age 21 or lower the age of consent to drink to 18. Why would the United States have such an inconsistant and hypocritical law?

I asked a question about why women are not allowed to fight in all the positions of war that men are....I just did not know why...well, of course, some smart mouth man said "Go play with your dolls, war is a boys game"...Well, to him I will say: Anything men can do, women can also! But men cannot have children (not that you would want to). Also, women can get pregnant without a man nearby, we just need his sperm. LOL Some women are even stronger than some men! OK OK.... I love you guys but someone made me go here!
