just wanna know how hard it is to get a waiver to re- enlist in the army after having knee surgery. just the acl, all other tendons were fine no grinding or catching of bones. and any tips that would help. i was in basic training and agrivated my knee. i never went to the hospital for it before so i had no medical history before the army. but when they offered to either fix it or send me home i went home. didn't wanna be recycled. now i want back in. i have a reentry code 3. i also heard that you can't have more than 2 kids. i have 1 daughter 1 son and 2 step daughters. my son lives with his mother (my ex) is that going to stop me from getting back in?

Let me clear it up for any moron with lingering doubts: It’s worse. It’s over. You lost. You lost the day your tanks rolled into Baghdad to the cheers of your imported, American-trained monkeys. You lost every single family whose home your soldiers violated. You lost every sane, red-blooded Iraqi when the Abu Ghraib pictures came out and verified your atrocities behind prison walls as well as the ones we see in our streets. You lost when you brought murderers, looters, gangsters and militia heads to power and hailed them as Iraq’s first democratic government. You lost when a gruesome execution was dubbed your biggest accomplishment. You lost the respect and reputation you once had. You lost more than 3000 troops. That is what you lost America. I hope the oil, at least, made it worthwhile.

Thats from an Iraqi blogger who has endured the war for a very long time but recently fled to Syria, as one of the million+ Iraqi refugees.

What say you to that? Why do you think we're winning?

My husband is wanting to join the Army but I keep hearing that the Air force takes better care of you. We do have two children and I want to make sure we will be taking care of while he is gone . Well my husband is wanting to work in the Food ServiceSpecialists, Construction Equipment Operators , or Construction Specialists . Would the Army be better for these jobs or the Air force? Also I keep hearing the Air force has you set for life then the Army. I just dont want him to make the wrong move. Also people keep telling me to make sure he gets everything in writing what he gets. Ok how does he do that please explain thanks.

My boyfriend said he was told that he must stay in the army for another 4 years after his 8 year commission (due next year). And, rather than selecting his next unit, his follow up was already assigned.

I'm devastated, he's in Baghdad right now, and I don't want him to go for a 3rd tour, and I want him to leave army asap and start our normal civilian life.

Is this some new order to prevent losing more officers? Or did he make this up in order to stay?

Thanks,

I want to become a politician after I retire from the U.S. Army. I'm going to go to college and I need to know what type of class should I take. I'm going to be in ROTC in college aswell. I'm planning on retiring from the army as a general. So, I'm going to be in the army as an officer for a long time. Then after I retire I want to be involved in politics. So, what degree and class should I probably take? Thanks! Serious, detailed answers are appreciated.

My son has recieved an " Other than Honorable discharge" he is serving 60 days restriction now, and when that is done he will be sent home. He is guilty of bad decisions that have hurt no one but himself, no criminal activity.

He has been in almost two years. He just turned 20. Where does he go from here, will his life be ruined because of this?, how will he get a job that does a background check?

After he sighned up, about a month or so before he was to leave he said he changed his mind, he did not want to go, but we pushed him hard and he went, it seemed all was well, little did I know how miserable he really was, I feel terrible that I may have caused this for him and now he will pay the price for the rest of his life. How do I help him now?

I know people in this area that find out he didnt make it are gonna ridicule him and it just breaks my heart..

He's a good kid, he just dosent think sometimes.

thanks.
