I'm both an American and an Irish citizen. I was basically wondering if I were to join the Irish reserves, would I still be a candidate for conscription if it ever came to that in the USA?

do you think that registering with selective service is unconstitutional and why i have a son that will be registering with it in a couple of years and do not want him to be drafted in to the war that will still be going on i know that there is currently no draft but as the war in iraq drags on and when (not if) we go to war with iran the goverment will probably reinstate the draft which is also unconstitutional

Being that Al-Queada, a border-less militant group, is in direct armed conflict with much of the world, is it safe to say that World War 3 is currently happening?

The doctors there credit the Surge with the sharp decline in patients and deaths.

Last month there were 70 percent fewer processed in the morque and 50 percent fewer wounded compared to July. The director notes that car bombs have gone from 6-7 a day to 2 a week. They note that even the patients they do receive are from random gunfire and accidents rather than terrorist attacks. In one of their wards, they only had two patients, both being treated for non serious injuries.
In fact, according to the Iraqi Health minister, the main morgue in Baghdad has seen an even more dramatic decline. Whereas they used to receive 180 dead on days, now have many days with as few as 12. That’s pretty incredible for a city of that size.

OK so the first question is if I work a 24 Hour duty.. like CQ forr example... I am supposed to get an adequate amount of time following for sleep. I need a reg to be able to tell them that I dont have to work because they are making me. Second question, I am getting a court martial for assault. I am bipolar and they have known for a while because I've been on meds for like 10 months. What are my rights in this whole deal because I have searched forever and I can't do this all by myself. Please HELP ME...

She has made up her mind to go when she gets out of school next year. I am worried because I just don't know enough about the navy. Please give me some information on what types of harm she may encounter and the severity. Also, provide any advice as to how to break the news to her grandmother.

I think it will give her a heart attack if I tell her now.

The story is Steve was looking for a place to set a land speed record. Does he have a car almost ready or even on the drawing board? Bonneville is already there, there's no need to find a better place. Sounds fishy to me.

However, Area 51 is within round trip distance. Steve is a curious aviator, to say the least. Area 51 is an aviator's mystery. Hmmmm.

Add the fact that Steve just disappeared, no trace, no crash scene, and the area has been well searched now.

I'm not talking aliens, but do you think the government could be involved?

GREENSPAN KNOWS IT

IF FEEL THIS IS HOW AMERICA LIKES TO PLAY IT

1.) SANCTIONS AGAINST COUNTRY ON FALSE ACCUSATIONS
2.) MOVE AN ARMY TO THE LOCALLITY
3.) INVADE THE OIL RICH COUNTRY AND CAUSE INTERNAL DISTURBANCE.
4.) STEAL THE OIL
5.) LOOK FOR ANOTHER COUNTRY TO STEAL THE OIL AND FURTHER RUIN WORLD ACCORD.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan, for years an inscrutable seer on the economy, is causing a stir by alleging in his new memoir that "the Iraq war is largely about oil."
Greenspan, who as head of the US central bank was famous for his tight-lipped reserve, is uncharacteristically direct, also accusing President George W. Bush of abandoning Republican principles on the economy.

"I'm saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows -- the Iraq war is largely about oil," he wrote in reported excerpts of "The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World," which is set for release on Monday.
