It is to teleport a human into the future or the past, simply speaking a Time Machine. And it is not abandoned, it is working perfectly. Oh sorry folks, in the 60 year future they still don t have a Hover Craft, but they do have these cool shoes that produce a reverse polarity magnetic lift that allows you to float, and a gyro produces the forward backward movement, and yes they are self lacing.

I find it interesting that the correct answer of "nothing" gets a thumbs down.
The project was scrapped.
There is no such animal in CA.
The Stanford Linear Accelerator has been operational for 40+ years. Shiva-Nova laser (Lawrence Livermore early 70's fusion project) was dismantled many years ago and the site is being used for the NIF project.
I believe all the magnetic suspension projects were scrapped as well.

I think you mean corridor and the plan is to unite Mexico,Canada and the US into one union, the North American Union. Ron Paul wants to stop it. Some people also call it the NAFTA superhighway.
