I've met a guy online that tells me he is a Navy SEAL offficer, retired. He is 41. When I told him that I didn't believe him. He produced photos of himself in full combat gear, on a rooftop in Ramadi. Also, a pic in his dress whites with the golden officers trident thingy up on his left shoulder, above a slew of medals. He was standing with his friend, who was also in dress whites.

He also sent me a copy....not real detailed....but, it was from the Dept. of Defense....that had his name, and other info on it.
And, he speaks the lingo, quite well....very convincing.

The reason I don't totally buy the SEAL thing...is that he is married, with kids....and wants to have a nsa fling with me. I mean....don't they have some super strict honor code they go by.....that applies to all areas of their lives?

Any ideas for a little test? lol Just so I will know.

SEAL or not...I'm not a sl*t. But, I am curious if he's being legit.

Thanks!

On 1 May 1996, the German Luftwaffe established the German Air Force Tactical Training Center at Holloman.

The German Air Force Tactical Training Center activated at Holloman 1 May 1996 With the activation, 300 German military personnel and 12 Panavia Tornado aircraft joined Team Holloman. German aircrews come to Holloman for approximately three weeks for advanced tactical training and then return to Germany. The German Air Force also conducts a Fighter Weapons Instructor Course for the Tornado. Aircrews for this course come to Holloman for about six months.

As of November 2006 there are 650 German military personnel and 25 Tornado aircraft assigned to Holloman AFB.

There are numerous reasons the German Air Force trains at Holloman. The area offers great flying weather and has suitable air space. Other reasons are the proximity of Holloman to the German Air Force Air Defense Center at Fort Bliss, Texas and the centralizing of German aircrew training at a single location.

I was considering going into OCS in the Army, most likely combat arms. What level security clearance do I need? How does this change over time (e.g. if I am eventually promoted to Captain, etc) and how does the security level vary with certain branches? (e.g. infantry or MI)

I am wanting to join the army to become a avionic mechanic. What are the chances of me being deployed? and if I were to be deployed, what would be the purpose if I have no experiance or schooling before I go? FOR EXAMPLE: could the army make me a infantryman after I chose to be something else..? ALSO: If this does happen and I live to talk about it.. would my MOS ever be changed back to what I originaly chose when joining?
Dont get me wrong people. I have no problem with this if it were to happen. I would'nt mind it at all. I know what being a soldier means and what is expected of me, and I would gladly pick up a gun and fight for my country.
I just have to answer some Q's for the mother if you know what I mean..

Too much evidence is piling up indicating Russia is developing greater military might, new weapons and better delivery systems as well as the will to misuse them to intimidate.
What is your view of this trend?
Is it legitimate or is the news misleading?
Would Russia try to pull off a sneak attack?
Against whom, and why?

my husband and i are discussing that if something happened to us what would we do with our kids? He said that our life insurance would go to his sister and not our kids so our kids should go to her because she will have the extra money. now my question is, is he lying to me, will the money go to her and not our kids or does it have to be set up that way?

gun control measures as recommended by the city? Or do we fall back onto that old chestnut about the constitution allowing guns so that we can keep killing each other?

If you are or have been enrolled in ROTC, you are probably familiar with that field exercise that invites family and friends to come see you perform different army stuff. lol..

Well anyways, I got my invitation and i wanna go, however, does anyone know what its like and if animals are allowed, I recently got two puppies and i don't wanna leave them home alone. It's outside, so i don't thikn it would be a problem, but it would be great hearing from someone who's been through it.

Any input would be great. Thanks guys!

I'm going Active Army for 4 years and I took an intelligence position that is entry level. It's important for me to get into intelligence and it's the only position (I have interest in) available anytime within the next year. I would like to know people's experience switching jobs as I'm most interested in an agent position. Maybe I could at the end of my 4 years or maybe just before? Any input is helpful! Thank you!

George Bush wanted to go to Iraq because Sadam tried to kill his father...end of story, that's the reason. Ok...we got him and executed him. They are still fighting, they don't want us there and they are dragging their heels on this democracy thing. This all boils down to a Holy war. They are desert people and their life is based on fighting. Does Georgie think he can change the course of time? I think he does. He thinks himself as a God. Iraq has been a war like country long before we decided to go and will be long after we are gone...if we ever leave. What is everyone's take on this. And no standing up for George and America. Heck, I work for the federal gvt and am proud to serve my country every day. Just some educated ans thought out answers please.

Thanks!!!

I've been together with my "boyfriend" of 1 year who is active duty Air Force. He's been in for 20 years. He has deployed 10 times all over the world. He deployed once again on Sept. 11th going to Iraq. How ironic is that? But, this is my first experience with military life and deployment. I feel like my whole world is crashing. He told me of his future deployment when we met and I thought that I was prepared for it. Don't misunderstand, I am very proud of him and I would never let him go. I love him with all my heart. I really need someone to talk to about this, but it seems that as a "girlfriend" not a spouse, I don't carry a lot of weight with most of the support groups. Is there anywhere out there for ME to lean?
