Sounds like you will be going to see a Parade, or perhaps a Change of Command ceremony.

The puppies will need to be leashed, and they might be startled if the unit has a salute of some sort (howitzer firing rounds). And the puppies may end up being a distraction to you such that you would miss part of the affair while they needed walking.

You'll need to check the invitation to see if there are any specific restrictions on pets. Otherwise, ir it's outside, it shouldn't be a problem.

It probably wouldn't be good to take the puppies to such an event. You will probably have to park and walk some distance to a parade field, there will be a big crowd and if they act up and bark it could disturb the ceremonies.

Find a puppy-sitter to watch them for you. Actually, a girl who does baby-sitting would probably enjoy the time with them.

g-day!

don't bring them. There will be loud noises and that could startle them, plus what will you do about picking up waste all day and providing water? additionally, they may not even be allowed on the grounds.
