Very likely. The Seabees are heavily involved in the Provisional Reconstruction Team efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

It's very unlikely that you'll go anywhere but to basic training and EO "A" school.
Your in the reserves which means after school you will be drilling one weekend a month with the nearest Navy Reserve Unit.

I was in the Navy from 1967 to 1971. I didn't do that type of job but I know a lot of people who did. You go where they send you. You do the job they give you. You are not at home now. You are in the military. In the military they teach you two things that stay with you the rest of your life and usually make your life better. One, teach you discipline. Two, teach you respect. If you learn those two things and nothing else, you will go far in life.

"OVERSEAS" means ANY PLACE IN THE WORLD. We had SeaBees in Antarctica, too.
