Let me clear it up for any moron with lingering doubts: It’s worse. It’s over. You lost. You lost the day your tanks rolled into Baghdad to the cheers of your imported, American-trained monkeys. You lost every single family whose home your soldiers violated. You lost every sane, red-blooded Iraqi when the Abu Ghraib pictures came out and verified your atrocities behind prison walls as well as the ones we see in our streets. You lost when you brought murderers, looters, gangsters and militia heads to power and hailed them as Iraq’s first democratic government. You lost when a gruesome execution was dubbed your biggest accomplishment. You lost the respect and reputation you once had. You lost more than 3000 troops. That is what you lost America. I hope the oil, at least, made it worthwhile.

Thats from an Iraqi blogger who has endured the war for a very long time but recently fled to Syria, as one of the million+ Iraqi refugees.

What say you to that? Why do you think we're winning?

sherry this isn't from a "liberal media" source. It's a regular person, an Iraqi.

I worked in Iraq for two years. We couldn't get the electricity running. The Iraqis said they had power within a month after the first war even today 5 years later they only get 2 hours a day.

Many of the Iraqis that worked in the Green Zone went home at the end of the day and never returned. Yeah they went to Jordan....I don't think so. Several hundred Iraqi interpreters are dead, it one of the highest risk jobs in Iraq.

Our leaders made many mistakes the least of which is arrogance. I'll be one happy guy when Bush is removed from office.

At this point we are still making progress. You can't just go into a country and expect it to be up and running with no problems overnight. The whole new government has to get set up, financial issues, etc. Those people were brain washed and lived in fear. Yes I admit some of them still are but at least now there is hope for tommorrow.
I remember the first day we crossed the border and the people were cheering at us. We have given them jobs. People can believe what they want but I was there and I witness stuff first hand.
Needless to say to the media loves to reflect the bad to get attention rather than to focus on the good we have accomplished.

I said we are helping because we are employing them. These government officials going into office are being killed because they are going to do the right thing. I suggest if you want to see how much progress is made join the military and find out. I don't feel like typing all the improvements we have made over there.

We won the war. Why is there still a question if we're winning or not? Just because we can't crush rebellion during occupation doesn't mean we lost. Does Iraq have the same government pre-war? No.

this is basic from the art of war - the only way to win some wars is to not fight them.

this war from the start was murky and vague as to it's value, now it's clear that we taking sides in a civil war on behalf of saudi arabia.

it's insane.

next time, when voting for president - lets everyone try to NOT vote for the IDIOT!!

Their feathers are made of lead...you can't ruffle them.

Most of America realizes now that this was a lost cause...the smarter ones knew it was a mistake to begin with.

Now, we sit back and wait for the first nuke to be detonated over the middle east (my guess Israel is the first to go).

sounds interesting, but how dare he voice an opinion against america? Doesn't he want "freedom"

It's just criminal what Bush did and what America backed him on.

Amazing, this comes from someone with no agenda and the right still won't believe it.

We are doing a great job over there. You can see it on CSPAN and by interviewing the troops but not on any liberal media front.
