I dont understand how people can treat them men and women who fight for thier freedom to do dunb stuff jacked up.... any comments.. serious one only cause i will not stand for anyone talknig crap about our men and women.....

My boyfriend has been at Marine bootcamp for over 10 weeks now. He has been in MRP for 6 of those weeks because they can't clear his lungs from double pnuemonia. When will the Marines deem this chronic and send him home. He's been on several antibiotics and still continues coughing and not getting returned to duty to continue to train.

I want to be a navy seal but I do live in the real world, so ofcourse failing is a possibility, if I'm to fail I would like to know a good mos to go into to help me be a better seal when I become one. I know you need to enlist into a mos "then" you try out if you are good enough. My question is which mos will focus, or train me in somthing that will be of use as a navy seal.

IU.S. Military Laws:

Can a Army solider be sued by a civilian? What type of exemptions does military personnel qualify for?

A few years ago, I was in a car accident ~ Struck from behind by a army solider. Ive obtained a lawyer who seems to has not put forth effort in my case.

Most recently he informed me that a military solider can not be sued.

Any resources that any can provide pertaining to this would be great

our "leader", with the lowest IQ of any US pres in history, whom i firmly believe should have never been reelected along with his crappy administration, has led us into this one sided attack leaving innocent people dead. the real reason for this devastation?? YOU tell me... bc as far as i'm concerned ~ there is none. weapons of mass destruction? through the iraq survey group, we have concluded that there are NO weaps. of mass destruction.. so why are we still harming civilians and why aren't our troops home!

my life has a lot of "new" stuff going on. i'm a new mom, married just over 1 year and to top it off, my husband has deployed for the first LONG trip of our marriage.

SO, i have a lot on my plate and i'm finding myself tearing up and getting all emotional at any little somewhat unkind comment.
i feel like if someone doesn't have on kidd gloves with me, then i break down.

i know i just have a lot to adjust to, right now, but how can i "toughen" up?? maybe i'm just not giving myself enough time?? i don't know??

help??

thanks.

the only threat to the US is Bush and his WMD lies. US soldiers are brainwashed to think they are fighting for our freedom but they are fighting for Bush's agenda. What makes me laugh is when the dead soldier's mother says she is soo proud of her dead son for fighting for his country. Tell me again what is he fighting for? WHAT? I can't hear you...... who's freedom?

I heard an interview yesterday with the author of a new book called "Blackwater". This is a group of private "soldiers" under contract with our government. They are currently in Iraq and other places around the world. Homeland security hired them to police New Orleans after Katrina. They are paid between $350 to $ 800 per day - courtesy of our Department of Defense. The leader of the corporation is a close friend of Rumsfeld and has ties to Cheney as well. U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq were interviewed for the book and they talked about how demoralizing to them these contracted "troops" are. As one said " when you are making $35,000 a year with a pregnant wife and 2 kids - it makes you wonder why you are doing the same thing these guys are doing while our government pays them six figure salaries." What do others out there think about this? I am apalled - but not surprised.
