As long as we need to. As long as it takes to get the job that we went there for done.
We fully need to finish what we are doing over there....for them and for us.

I think we will have a foot print in Iraq for the next 10-15 years at least.
If I were a betting man, I would say at least a Division sized element.

I don't agree with going there in the first place; that was a con... I'm not a liberal... but I agree that it will take a long time to stabilise Iraq. No one in gov't responsible for going there will experience sending a loved one over there.
be safe and be home soon

I think our politic ans are arguing over this very question meanwhile our soldiers are still getting killed. We need to get all the news idiots out of there and untie the generals hands and let us do what we were trained to do, the military kill's period and now we are putting these our guys in jail for doing what they were trained to do show some backbone their neighbor is watching very closely whats going on. Or start pulling out. I for one am tired of seeing our guys getting blown up by these roadside bomb for nothing so lets get in there and kick some as#

okay I guess you people don't get it
Exactly how much longer? You keep saying until we're finished but you don't seem to realize that there is no way to win this "exporting democracy" crap. How would you like it if someone came to the US and said no you can't live that way no more? You need to change. You'd be pretty pissed too wouldn't you.

Im guessing until we are done? In 1943 do you think anyone asked when we were leaving Germany. Dont forget, they never attacked us either. They were just led by a really bad man who killed all he didnt like. Sound farmiliar...
