Oh that is right... EVERYTHING is Bush's fault. So this fight at the local High School here was totally his fault. I'm sure that he was the one that incited this riot. Bad Bush...Bad.
People seem to forget that there are groups of people that want nothing more than for Americans to die. These groups of people are all of these suicide bombers that are killing our troops, and innocent children and adult in Iraq.

First of all, it's very disheartening to a soldier, male or female, to read statements like 'why are our boys dying for nothing?' They aren't. They are doing their jobs and they are doing a damn good job and you should be ashamed for making statements that could make them feel less than what they are. Right, wrong, or indifferent, our soldiers are doing what they were trained to do and are commanded to do and should never ever hear, read, or see something so depressing as those words you wrote.
Secondly, Bush, America, or our soldiers did not create a civil war in Iraq. In fact, our presence keeps the violence down a notch or two. There is an undeclared civil war in Iraq, between the Sunni minority who ruled this country under Saddam and the Shiite majority. Then you have the Kurds, many are Christian and Jewish, who aren't even allowed to work or sell what they grow in public market. This is a situation that has been present for many years and is the very reason America is still there.
Yeah, sure we might not be directly serving ourselves there, but what about the Kurds? What about stopping the Shiites from wiping out an entire race of Sunnis? Isn't that what Hitler did?
A friend of mine has a nephew in service over there. He's a doctor and he attends some of the Kurdish villages. He treated the 'cheif's' granddaughter at one village and was invited to have tea with the old man. The old man told him that Iraqis didn't want the Americans there any more than Americans wanted to be there. But since our country had so much 'might' we should help the poor Iraqis. He said that if someone didn't stop the slaughter, there would be no Kurds or Sunnis left. And if someone doesn't help set up a fair government, the Kurds would be only a memory.
Can we not lay down the bi-partisian opinons and the hate and anger we have now, and focus on finishing a job we started? Whether you agreed to it, or I wanted to be there, can't we let our troops do their jobs and come home proud of what they did and what they stood for? All the general public sees is what the media feeds us. Know that there is much more than we know and can understand and support what your country and pray to God that it ends soon.
A united front would be awesome when that front is American. What's the Brotherhood of Man song? United we stand, divided we fall. And if our backs should ever be against the wall, we'll be together, together, you and I.

I would not say they are dying for nothing. They enlisted in the Army, so why does it matter how the president uses them, especially if it is for a cause of helping people who need it. Also, we have sufficient troops in Afghanistan, and do you remember why we went to Afghansistan in the first place???? It was to catch someone who is no longer in Afghanistan.

Zarqawi created the atmosphere for civil war by attacking the holy mosque, and blowing all the gold off of it. Look at all the othe havoc Zarqawi wreaked over the land!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Iraq, can stand on it's own, the U.S. will have a strong ally to fight terror, and the region will be more stable.

Bush is too incompetent to have created a civil war there, his error came in not taking the history of the area under consideration before the went in with guns blazing. Only a strong and nasty dictator could have kept that country under subjugation since Iraq was a country made up by the British and it was comprised of mortal enemies, the Shiia, the Kurds, the Sunni. Removing Saddam destablized the yoke they were under and now they are doing what they do best, shoot, bomb and kill each other, and using us for target practice.
Why aren't we in Afganistan? Look at a map of that country, its northern sections are mountains and valleys with thousands of places to hide. There are no military targets to take out, what do you do when there is nothing to shoot at but a bunch of camels and goatheards who sneak into caves at night
Why are our boys(and girls) dying for nothing, whats the matter with you? Haven't you heard of George W Bush and his legacy?

In Afghanistan? That's OK? There has been reports of Osama in Pakistan, by your standard we should attack them? How about Syria while we're at it, I've heard reports of terrorists there too? Allot of the individuals I was up against in Iraq were also Iranian and there president is pursuing nuclear technology, how about them too? Then again there are Saudi terrorists too, heck Osama Bin Laden is a born Saudi!! By your standards we can attack and sustain war in just about the whole middle east.................except Iraq.

I believe we need to resign our occupancy in that country and yes we need to be fighting the real threat to Democracy everywhere. If that means fighting in Afghanistan, Korea or where ever we have to be!
