what would America do?
isreal threatened to do so to iran because of supporting hezbolla
Iran was still against america but didnt have any nuclear facility of any kind or any WMD's
and america was fighting in iraq and afghanistan

I scored a 69 on the ASVAB [not sure whether it's a high score or not] and my point is, I want to join the service, I just haven't made my mind as to which one..

I was aiming for the Navy, but I was approached by a recruiter from the Army National Guard and was quite impressed with what he had to say. Most of the people I know in the service are with the Army.. so any suggestions as to which one would be the better branch to join? :O) thanks for your suggestions..

I'm not talking about the "Dora" weapon. I remember seeing somewhere that the German's in WW II either constructed or planned to construct a gun that's barrel was super long and went up the side of a mountain. The barrel also had intakes which would inject more gas as the shell moved through the barrell to increas its speed. Does anyone have any idea what this thing might have been? Thanks.

I had heard that the only way to become an officer was to go to college and then try out for OCS. But because I'm enlisting right now I won't be able to go to college. so I was wondering if there was a way I could go from enlisted to officer without a degree. or if they had a program for me to somehow get a degree while enlisted. MY MOS is 11C.

That day will come. ( Like vietnam ) The losing American troops will have a thousand yard stare and have a look of shame all over their body language. It seems that Iran (tacitly) helped stabilized northwest Afghanistan post 9-11 and that the Iranian supported Shiite militias of eastern and southern Iraq have done far less against coalition forces than they could. Is this correct? And if this is correct, what could Iran do in these theaters of war?

These potential costs do not seem to be much discussed in the media or in Washington.

you are part of a sniper team (consists of 2 people, you and your spotter)... your in mid Baghdad... ur sniper "nest" is on the ground, and a group of insurgents spot you's... You's are completely out numbered, you only have ur sniper rifle and a m9 pistol, your friend only has a m16 with only 1-2 clips... You realize you's have no chance of survival and if they get u's alive most likely you'll be torcherd like hell because they hate snipers... what would you do?

I personally would try n take out as many as I can and then with my last bullet take my own life...

I beleive that civilians have rights to get guns, and rifles... that's acceptable... but do you really think that a 18yr old w/ a clean record shoudl be able to buy a 50 caliber sniper system? A gun this big could easily kill people, shoot engines out of cars, and cause alot of trouble if fallen into the wrong hands... The gun ranges over a mile or two... any one could just go far away n snipe sum1... scrape off serial numbers rebore the barrel n chuck it somewhere n they'll never figure it out...
