Military - March 2007

We have been in Vicenza for about 3 months. We were staying in a hotel for a few weeks and then they offered us two apts both of which were way too tiny to accomadate our needs. We voiced this problem and were told that if we did not want to move into one of the apts offered then we would have to pay for the hotel the army had put us in until something opened up in housing which could take 30 days or more. Our hotel was 120 Euro a night and we could not afford this. There were cheaper hotels farther away but they did not allow pets and our car had not arrived and my husbands sponser outranked him and refused to pick him up for his inprocessing (but that is a whole other story). We felt we had no choice but to take one of the apts. The place we are living in is extremly substanard. We have complained many times to housing and they have agreed to do an "exception to policy" and move us but what they are offering is smaller than what we have. What can we do?

I want to understand the American strategic plans for those puppets,are we gonna kill them after finishing our assingment,because no matter what Muslims will look at them as traitors,and believe me it is true,so we should not trust those puppets,it is true they helped us to topple Saddam,but i have feeling that they might turn against us at any time,especially in Iraq,the puppets in Iraq are loyal to the red eyes in Iran,Now can any body tell me exactly what the hell is going on.

at first, i believe that it was osama laden who's the mastermind of the 911 incident, but after reading and watching some research, i was confused! did osama really hit the twin tower?? or other people who plotted the hit so that they have the green light and can begin to invade muslims countries by using the reason "we're doing this (the war) to find the culprit" but actually they right now are laughing behind our back?? if osama did planned then i think that he's insane cuz people've been chasing him like ****, no different than digging his own grave, but if it was other side who did it, then i certainly believe because the result is now! in front of our eyes!! women and children were raped and killed. innocents were treated the way they don't deserve it and seems like their lives worth nothing!! are these called humanity??!

and i have one problem i love the way food taste i cant help myslef but to eat i even eat when im not hungary i think my problem is sort of like how some people have to be doing something with their hands i think im like that but with my mouth i need to be able to keep my mouth occupied i tried chewing gum but it makes my mouth dry.

My son is 15 and he is adamant that he is joing the army. He is in the Army Cadets at the moment and absolutely loves it. However, I am already really worried about the whole army and going to war thing and really dont want him to go, however I have to look to support him. He intesnds to go to Sandhurst and join the RMP. I have convinced him to stay on and do his A'Levels but he wants to go straight in after taking them.

Apart from the obvious getting killed, maimed injured and suffering from PTSD what else do you think would maybe put him off?

At the end of the day I will support what he wants to do but as a mother who desperatley loves her son, I worry.

I believe that Bush is a murderer for this war on so many levels. I believe Bush should stand trial for international war crimes and then be put in front of a firing squad then played all over You Tube.
