I recently asked this question, and I appreciate all of the answers but am looking for information from more recent graduates. I realize that Battle Stations will most likely be hardest, but I'm looking for day to day things. Is is swimming? Running? Climbing? Thank you for the help.

The worse thing you are gonna have to do a basic,

is bed drills.

especially if its the summer time.

IE:

take off your uniform, fold it or hang it .

get under the sheets and blanket in your rack.

Then the DI will say get up and outside in formation.

You have to get up, get dressed and get outside in formation as fast as you can,

The DI times you doing it.

Then you go back into the barraks and do it again, and again, and again.

You can have to do this for an hour straight.

To all the other Vets, sorry for bringing something you hopefully forgot about, back up !!!!!!!

I have heard from friends in the Navy that the worst thing they went through was the tear gas training. You have to take off your gas mask and breathe the stuff in while stating your name, rank, etc.

I guess the hardest thing in Navy basic training is not being able to stuff your fat face whenever you want to.

i hear the hardest thing physically about being a sailor is living with knowledge that you'll never be a soldier. living with the fact you joined the navy and not the army is a heavy burden on anyone.
