AIR FORCE = YES. All pilots are officers and to be an officer you have to have a bachelors degree.
ARMY = NO. They have warrent officers as copter pilots. Warrent officers do not need degrees.

Yes, all fighter pilots are commissioned officers. Before getting your commission you must have a 4 year college degree. Which degree? It doesn't really matter. My friend was a history/creative writing major and now she's contracted as a copter pilot in the Marine Corps.
Copter pilots in the Army are Warrant Officers. Copter pilots in every other branch are commissioned officers.

For all services except the Army, yes. The Army you can be a commissioned officer (4year degree required) or you can be a Warrant Officer (not required). You still have to complete the Fixed Winger and Rotary Aircraft course at Ft. Rucker, AL.

Not necessarily, for example, many Army helicopter pilots do NOT have degrees from college.

Not always.
You can look at the Army's Warrant Officer Flight Training program. This program is open to people without a college degree.

Military pilots are college degree holders because it takes a lot of study and skill for a person to pilot a plane.
