I watched "the protector". Is the job real, being that the guard jumps out of a helicopter, pulls people out of the ocean so they do not die?

Does someone know for sure. aka, is part of that job?
thanks

Due to the violence from car/truck bombings that is causing massive injuries and deaths to the civilians and the military in Baghdad that the U.S. should take away the civilian use of automobiles in Baghdad until the city becomes stabilized.

America's involvement in world war 2 started on the Japanese
attack of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7th 1941. But armed conflict in
Europe had been going on since 1937, and Japan had invaded
Manchuria in 1931, and started a full scale war with China in 1937.
If America had entered the conflict in Europe as soon as France
and England had declared war on Germany, it could have saved
millions of lives.

Boy, I caught a lot of flak when I posted the question about winning in Iraq. Thats one of your repubs biggest problems. You put eveyone in the same boat. Oh. I served in the USMC for 25 years and I know about our bold and brave. ie two tours in nam. I'm only trying to say that we took the wrong approch. We did not let the Generals run the war. Now come on, is this a better way of asking the question or not. Surly, someone out there has a good answer.

I am tired of watching my neighbors go on ocean cruises and enjoying luxuries when my life is one of constant fighting for survival. I have lost my faith in this country. I'm tired of the struggle. I am disabled and unable to work. And by the way- anyone considering ENLISTING-let my post be a warning how YOU'LL be treated by YOUR so-called government after you return from war.

Why do all the repubs think that us dems don't want to win the war in Iraq. ??? We only want it won quickly and without the loss of a lot of lives. Thats why I will ask the Prez to use the BigBomb asap. Kill them all and exit.

As the mother of a young US Marine who has had three friends from bootcamp die in the Middle East, my heart seems to never stop aching from what I see and hear on the news. I can't imagine a world without world, but is it possible? So many good people, on both sides of the world are dying and it seems to be escalating every day. Are there any Yahooers out therel with a common sense, and non political view of how we as common Americans can change things? I don't want to bury my Marine nor do I want to see anymore good young people die, either here or in other parts of the world. Is it time for mothers to make a stand? Can we make a difference? If ALL mothers came together and worked to end the war, do you think we would have a chance? Your thoughts please. Thank you.

I wish people would stop generalizing on here. That guy who said Brits stand beside you is wrong. Opinion polls have consistently shown opposition to the war. IF by that you somehow read the situation as Britain supporting the war then you guys need to go back to school.

I dont hate Americans, but I do hate your leader. And I do hate the war. If youre all so holier than thou and went into Iraq on suspicion of WMD's then I have some news for you. North Korea DOES have WMD's. Not even just a suspicion, its known Fact. Also 1 million or more N. Koreans are starving, a potentiall much greater humanitarian disaster than was about to befall the Iraqi people. So cmon then, off you go and bring down that government if youre so self righteous.

Or does the school bully only pick on the weaker opponents?
