Due to the violence from car/truck bombings that is causing massive injuries and deaths to the civilians and the military in Baghdad that the U.S. should take away the civilian use of automobiles in Baghdad until the city becomes stabilized.

Controlling the civilian vehicles is NOT the problem over there. It is a creative thought, but we cannot and should not control their civilians like this.

It's not up to the US to suspend anything in Baghdad. Only the Iraqi government or Baghdad city government can do such a thing.

Why would we do that? And how could we do that? Not our place. That would have to be the Iraqi government, not us.
And the bombers would just find another place to put the bombs.
