I wish people would stop generalizing on here. That guy who said Brits stand beside you is wrong. Opinion polls have consistently shown opposition to the war. IF by that you somehow read the situation as Britain supporting the war then you guys need to go back to school.

I dont hate Americans, but I do hate your leader. And I do hate the war. If youre all so holier than thou and went into Iraq on suspicion of WMD's then I have some news for you. North Korea DOES have WMD's. Not even just a suspicion, its known Fact. Also 1 million or more N. Koreans are starving, a potentiall much greater humanitarian disaster than was about to befall the Iraqi people. So cmon then, off you go and bring down that government if youre so self righteous.

Or does the school bully only pick on the weaker opponents?

Wysteria - Fair point. Dont say im not big enough to admit the errors of my ways. Still you gotta say you lot did vote Bush in twice and you do need a majority for that to happen. Thats pretty unforgivable.

Annie your hilarious. You got busted fair and square, you couldnt take the fact you made a mistake so you huffed and puffed and made it worse.

The guy is right though and although Americans claim it dont bother them what others think it does and it bothers them alot. I see alot of Americans on here claiming the British are always slagging them off which is just bollox im afraid. There are more Americans slagging us Brits off than the other way around. It is also insulting to say you won the 2 world wars when everyone knows Britain did more and the US picked up the glory. DONT EVER FORGET THAT ANNIE! ;-) lol, but anyway the fact is us Brits see you Yanks ( no offense just easier to type ) as big headed and pompus with this far fetched belief you are superior to us. We have acheived more than you will ever achieved and this democrocy you speak of, thats all down tho the British, your freedom is largely down to the British aswell. Im not saying we gave you your freedom ( although we never surrendered, a treaty was signed which means no official winners ) but we played a huge part in colonising you, so if we hadnt you wouldnt be there.

Your government is a disgrace and if you agree with it im afraid your in the same boat. Tony Blair is scum to most British who have any love for our homeland and those who follow him are nothing short of traitors. I know he is poular in the States but you probably dont here about his policies at home and how his party has taken our identity away just to make them some money through immigration. We both have our problems, but you have more and seem to over confident to want to sort them out.

Have you ever considered your country is not that great and is more likely one of the worse in the western world. You have no history, no intergrity and no honour as a country. You act all patriotic and say how free you all are when in reality you live in the most dangerous country in the Northern hemisphere bar maybe Russia.

If it offends you its not intended but if you retaliate you have helped prove us Brits right and ever so slightly damaged your standing in the world, whether you care or not.

Hate? That's a little much.

There was more to Iraq than WMDs. There is a country next Iraq, called Iran. Iran is run by a president who wishes to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. Taking Saddam out of power and helping turn Iraq into a stable force and ally in the Middle East will be one of the biggest steps we could take to peace in the Middle East.

Can you imagine what it would be like if we were coming up on WWIII with Saddam still running things in Iraq? We would have to fight our way through Iraq just to get to Iran.

Oh yea not to mention Saddam killed and tortured his people on a daily basis.

And what is it that makes North Korea such a tough opponent? They have a poorly equipped and poorly trained military, and a few nukes that they don't wanna use. If we thought North Korea was going to use the nuke we would probably already be running air strikes there. The problem is if they sell it to some terrorist or Iran.

Humanitarian missions sound like a job for the UN to me.

Don't speak about a war you know nothing about.

Sorry to read that you hate our leader, by the way he is our President. Yes, we, the American people, did vote him into office. This is called democracy. That is what we fought for when we fought the revolutionary war.

I may not agree with all the Pres. Bush has done, and I have the right to say so. Luckily, you do too. But maybe you should be complaining about Blair, he supports the war. Time to correct the problems in your country before you take aim at ours. But then again, your country is being over run by Muslims isn't it.

You claim you don't hate Americans, but you then go on to say things about "you're all holier than thou...blah,blahblahblahblah. Maybe you should come off your high horse. If America didn't save your a... you would be speaking German. I suspect you are really French!!!!

My friend, it appears that you are not as well informed as you think, polls show 65% of Americans are against the current direction that things are going also, and Bush has his lowest approval ratings ever( Blair is more popular here than Bush is), .........Also, we went to war based on information provided in part by British intelligence............And before you start talking about being self righteous and bullying, you need to go back and study your own history a little more. There is no place America can go where the Brits haven't already been. This is your fourth war in Afghanistan and your third in Iraq.............Oh yea, technically, we're still at war with N. Korea, and so are you.........I still like the Brits though.

I like the Brits. Never been to Scotland but I did get to England when I was stationed in Germany, beautiful country. You have a great history, friendly people and a kick a$$ military. My family came from England and Ireland and I am proud of my British roots, I plan to return someday when I get the chance.....I support all the troops in this war, I might not agree with the policies, but I'm behind the troops.America stands by you also, all for one and one for all sort of thing.....And I enjoy reading and answering question asked by the Brits on this site, all in good fun,you know.

Need I remind you of Britains own history of picking on weaker opponents? Anyways, there was more then the WMD reason, we also attacked because Saddam opened up his borders to terrorists. If I remember correctly, President Bush said if anyone helps the terrorists, they will be considered an enemy. Maybe not his exact words, but it explains it. As for North Korea, China is currently handling that. Want to know why you guys lost to us twice? The American people (not all, just the true patriots), once set on a path to a war, will fight the good fight with determination, vigilance, and a dream for all to be free. I would personally like to thank the Brit with the Harry Potter image for showing that there are still people out there who support us as we have supported them.

Frankly, I dont give a rats *** what the Brits think of the US foreign policy.

I am also tired of everyone making it Bush's fault. The congress voted to go to war based on evidence gathered by out intelligence agencies that either proved to be false, or the Iraqis got them out of the country before we got there. Perhaps, if Hussein had let the UN inspectors do their jobs he would still be alive and still killing Iraqis by the hundreds of thousand like he had been.

Then answer me this if you Brits think us Americana's should leave then why don't all of you do the same. And while your at it ask your military why their selling their old fighter jets to the Saudi Arabians. Oh and you sure would have allot of British compounds to close along with it.

So please do us Americans a big favor leave us alone and let us take care of what their people asked our government to do for them.

No one likes war but when you think about it what do you think your starting when you put things like this up in her? Oh lets see! could it be a war?

I am a Brit, I live in America and I am proud to be in this Country and back America all the way. We are both fighting terrorism together. Just as the USA had 9/11, don't forget Britain had 07/07.
The British and Americans are great allies. I love America and Americans as I love my own Countrymen. Together we rock! God Bless the USA and the UK

Yea, we care about what you think. Your simple mindedness is why you are no longer an empire. You have been marginalized by your pin headed global philosophy. This time, when your enemies rise against you (as they are now doing), maybe we wont be there to save you this time. Those who are not for us are against us. Tell that to your Parliament - bloak! And get yourself a hobby. Your going to need it while counting the days till your riding camels through the streets of London and speaking Arabic. Oh, and dont forget to buy a prayer rug!
