What is the procedure to tell a family that their child/spouse died in war? Is this when someone from the military just shows up on the doorstep? do they present a flag? Is it different depending on the rank of the soldier?

Many parents have children who are being sent to Iraq to fight his war. Bush is planning to enlist thousands of young americans to fight in his war. Why not send his own children. If he supporting this war then he should have his children fight too. Maybe he should feel what it is like to have your child sent off to war. This will never happen, but this would be a Great question to ask bush. Bush would rather sacrifiice someone elses son or dauther then his own. Im just glad his term in office is coming to an end!! Who Agrees with me? And please, dont give me dumba$$ answers!!

the over 3000 soldiers killed in the Iraq War?

This is a country who has never attacked us, never threatened to attack us, or never killed a single american BEFORE we invaded them. They say we are trying to free iraq, but they have never asked for our help. The soldiers killed more iraqis then Hussein ever did. if Iraq really wanted Suddam dead they would have killed him themselves. Technically this is not a war, A war is when both sides agree to fight. iraq never agreed to fight wih us, they never wanted too fight us. If we wanted to free a country why not sudan, why iraq. there are no nuclear weapons. Why does it have to be iraq. Not only have thousands of U.S. soldiers have died but innocent children, women, and men have died too.

Army Counter-Terrorism soldiers always have to ready for any missions 24/7. But are they allow to take break time/vacation(Leave) like other soldiers?
Seems like they have no free time or no time for anything else. They are always oversea somewhere.. Are they actually "allowed" to take certain days break?

One reads that CIA officers carry out interrogations but do they have a military rank? Are all interrogations carried out by CIA officers and private contractors or does the army perform some of its own? Can a lieutenant colonel carry out an interrogation or is that highly unlikely?

I heard, on a progressive radio talk-show that Ehern Watada's court marshal was declared a mis-trial by the judge.

I haven't heard one thing about this case on the Republican owned main-stream news media outlets, like FOX News, or ABC, channel 7.

Does anybody have any links to the full story?

Was it declared a mis-trial because the U.S.military didn't have enough evidence to courtmarshal the man, and how do all the cons that rashly called the man a traiter feel now, after exposing their foolishness to the world?

At what point, can America turn around to the rest of the world and go.There you are, we have now won the war, and everything is normal again.

I mean seriously do you think one day the insurgents will just say, 'Hmm, we are a bit bored with all this fighting ........ok we all give up, we will leave you alone now?'

I am serious, please tell me the conditions and how they are likely to come about in which you can say 'JOB DONE'

Because it aint EVER gonna happen .......

Or do they have some other system?

WASHINGTON - A "very damning" report by the Defense Department's inspector general depicts a Pentagon that purposely manipulated intelligence in an effort to link Saddam Hussein to al-Qaida in the runup to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, says the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

"That was the argument that was used to make the sale to the American people about the need to go to war," said Sen. Carl Levin , D-Mich. He said the Pentagon's work, "which was wrong, which was distorted, which was inappropriate ... is something which is highly disturbing." Because of the lies many troops have died.

The US can't wage aggressive wars against the rest opf the world every 30 to 40 years without expecting retribution. Tony Blair was swtupid enough to join in with this and now, we are hated by most of the world too. It's so stupid and incompetent, it's beyond belief.
