I love "cut and run". It's so catchy. I think opponents of the war need to come up with something as cute. Maybe "stay and die" or "increase debt, increase death"? I don't know, just ideas.

As a supporter of the War but when the war continued and Bush told the American Public that the war was over and mission complete. At this time we had finished everything that he said we would do take down Saddam and give the Iraqis there own government. Now i know that we as a country have had some setbacks but I do not believe we need to stay any longer, one reason is because they are in a Civil War while we are in the middle. Now about withdrawal I do not think we should cut and run but I do think that we need to start to redeploy and do it slowly and while doing that the remaining soldiers need to stop being soldiers but be trainers till all the troops are out. I say this because the Iraqi prime minister is not helping us so why help him?

Let's see. Poor intelligence leads us into a war that didn't necessarily have to happen, but now we're stuck. Political polarization at home. The administration telling us one thing, the mainstream media another, and nobody enough to let the public have a real informed opinion. Military opportunities and risks all over the board. We've never been in this situation before. Wait..... I guess maybe I'd ask one of my kids if they ever had the Spears music, "Oops, I Did It Again."

I'd say - now Iraq will got to pieces just like Afghanistan did when the 'war' was over - because no-one helped them get back on their feet after the war. Just cut and ran!

Can't do that. It would mean that US has begged down to harassment by the insurgents. Believe that's what they actually want. Declare martial law and demand all arms to be surrender immediately, any illegal possession will be prosecuted or fire upon if found. Engage more ground and local troops to comb and sweep clean all towns.Hardline approach suits them better, they're people that had been ruled by a former authoritative ruler for decades, wishy washy and humanitarian stuff are not in their textbook teaching.

If the Dems make us cut and run, I will be purchasing a few guns because the War will be coming our way in a matter of days.

What you say will happen will not, because America is waking up to the evil threat posed by islamofascism, but if it does,I will say the liberal Demonrats who stabbed America in the back again should all be tried and hung for treason, starting with John Kerry, Jack Murtha, Michael Moore, and Jane Fonda. We should use the same rope for them that was used for their friend Saddam.

I would acknowledge that the Democrats control the White House and both Houses of Congress.
I don't believe the U.S. would "cut and run" under any other circumstances.

All I can say is we better NOT, unless you like the thought of IED's & car bombs making you late for work! THe United States needs to stay in & finish the job!

Although we should not have went in, I will say what a tragic day and woe to us for our future. I imagine our enemies will be rejoicing. We have an obligation to fix what we broke. It is a pity that this country is not capable of winning a war thanks to the media.

the muslims learned well from our cowardice in viet nam.as soon as a few bodybags start coming home we will still put our tails between our legs and run.
