Just have a look at the casualities list of US Army at http://www.defenselink.mil/Releases/Release.aspx

Most of the dead are aged between 20-25 . Why US send inexperienced young soldiers to war front ?

Every time some nation or its leader says they will attack & destroy the US why don't we just pulverize them back to the stone age & put an end to it right then & there eg: Syria, Iran, No. Korea, Somalia , Yemen, etc.

This is all against his General's advice.
Does anybody else think we need a "regime change" in the US? Preferably before the next elections. I suggest a United World Force to invade the US and topple the current Admin. Hopefully bloodlessly of course.

since the new nazi's (the u.s) invaded iraq for it's greed(intrest) for iraqi oil, will the sending of 20 thousand plus waffen ss troops to iraq bring peace and democrcy in iraq? and why was saddam hussien only charged with the killings of 150 iraqi's who tried to kill him and not with the gassing of the kurds? Is it because the nazi u.s would be implemented in supplying saddam with the gas in the first place?

Casualty wise? I always read something such as this on Yahoo answers "Has Bush exceeded the Body Count of Vietnam yet?"

There were over 52,000 American, DEATHS. In Vietnam, why do people try to compare?

I never understood that.

Reporters/politicians continually talk of Iraq being on the 'brink' of a full scale civil war. From the news reports it already looks like a civil war to me. What's the difference between 'full scale' and what's happening over there now?

How would you handle this??

Someone in my family went from blue to green, made it to his normal duty station, he has failed to conform and was recently caught in a lot of lies by his chain of command....Things he has made up, and I became aware of when I received a call from his C/O......

I am very ashamed and embarrassed by his actions...everything that encompasses his duty honor and integrity is ruined by his own actions....

In other words, he looks like he would rather be seen as a liar, than be said he was scared to go to Iraq...to be honest he is my son in law and since this has come to light, it has greatly affected his place in the family..He is looking at a discharge and I agree he dosen't deserve to wear the uniform..

I love my daughter and she too is a victim, I worry about her due to this, but she loves him..., he isn't trustworthy in my eyes at all !
what would you do?

Thanks for all the help!

Now that George is so kindly helping Iraq to rid itself of its insurgents by sending another 20,000 troops. (he's all heart!)

Do we really need our troops over there?

Two points; First, realize that everyone that has signed up for the US military wanted to defend this country, took an oath and they joined by choice, many have NEVER complained about the war.

Second: We all know there is really ONLY one reason we went in to this war, because someone somewhere had to pay for the destruction caused on 9-11. There was no way this country was going to just let that happen and do nothing. I stood by our revenge then and I stand by it now, that was all it was based upon, we were slapped and we slapped back to make a point, blow up our buildings and people and government, and we WILL destroy something and maybe next time it will be you!

WE ALREADY WON !!
Point well made and we have ALREADY WON! many countries are scared to death to go up against us and scared to harbor terrorist for fear we will come in and wreck their country too! Can you see we have won in these terms?

I hardly ever see anyone from the Military complaining abut the war, it's always the pencil pushers and people that did not sign up for the armed forces. Dont forget each and every military person in the US armed forces SIGNED UP and took an oath that they would defend this country at all cost they chose to be there. I am proud of our troops and what they stand for, but I am embarrassed by the big mouthed pencil pushers that wouldn't wear a uniform no matter what to defend this country. Do you agree?

I m not here to create a polemic, but I'm asking question to myself?

was it a good think to go make the war in Iraq, now that we know ( who say the opposite is a liar) that the American government lie to the entire world.

Japans maritime self defense force (JMSDF) are still using the old WW2 imperial navy & army flag on navy ships.

And recently the japan ministry of defense revised the constitution removing limitations on JMSDFs participation in peace keeping efforts overseas.

Does anyone trust them taking the role on global terrorism?

Please...I'd really like to know what the soldiers think who have been in the war in Iraq.

Do you feel that Bush is asking the right thing regarding adding more soldiers into Iraq? If this happens, do you think the war will last another few years and not as he wishes with a gradual pull out at the end of this year? Thanks...

The engineers recommended a "device" Israel has be field tested in Iraq as it had strong promise to stop rocket grenades. Army said no thanks, possibly because of a huge contract it has with Rayethon (spelling) to develop similar device. Something sounds very wrong and all Americans should write their Congressman about this. Many of us opine, and rant & rave on this site. Here is chance to maybe do something to help troops. Your thoughts, & rants please.
